My child just completed the Serious Fun, musical theatre camp. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was so courteous and professional, we were always greeted with smiles. They were so organized and communicated very well. My child had a wonderful time exploring her love of the arts. They created a wonderful production at the end of the camp! The teachers and full staff were so great my child adored all of them.
As the name say, Serious Fun is nothing but that. Productive time with many activities with teachers, new things to learn and plenty of fun while doing serious work with big smile on the face. My kid was literally crying on the last day, saying how much she will miss all the teachers and her new friends. Unforgettable memories for my daughter that she will remember forever. When teachers work with full heart and dedication, amazing results are guarantied. Thanks to Serious Fun After School team and hope to see you next year as well.
My child recently completed the Serious Fun Musical Theater Summer Camp. In this camp, he was involved with all aspects of putting together an original musical theater production. He had a great time, and learned a lot while working with his fellow students and the wonderful teachers and staff. He couldn't be more proud of the musical theater production they all created together, and that families got to attend at the end of the program (the production was fantastic!) Thank you Serious Fun, COMPASS NYC and DYCD for providing such a quality program which keeps the children engaged, and allows them to express their creativity through acting, singing, dancing, writing, set and technical design and so much more.
Stay away! We registered my daughter (kindergarten student) for 4 days a week. 2 weeks later she started crying to do not go after school program. There is no info from seriousfun. You don’t know the teachers, what they are doing, or who is responsible. We are expecting she has filmmaking class that they they make bracelet. One day should be art they watch tv. Teachers always changing and nobody send any info. Our daughter was saying there was a lady who doesn’t even let them to get out from their chairs and walk all afternoon. In the and we canceled 1 day first but she was still so unhappy. She said they don’t behave good to them. Then we canceled one more day and finally all 4 days. She went total 6 weeks. We paid more than 2200$! When you are canceling they charge all month even if you canceled in first day of the month. Plus registration fee, cancellation fee… I strongly suggest parents to consider another options for their kids. After just a week we cancelled serious fun our daughter started going to school happy again. That’s priceless.
