Why would a staff member tell a woman and her child who came for food at your "food shelf" on Sunday that she had to call this week and make an appointment and to add insult to injury tell her but she was welcome to go to the church service smh. WHAT WOULD JESUS DO??????? Turned away a hungry child and mother. There was literally food on the premises. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Call yourselves Christians. Go to Today's Harvest instead, you don't need an appointment. Google them. I will be contacting Today's Harvest to find out how to donate. People need help on the spot. Evil work to turn hungry people away and yes I helped this family before during and after the crisis and am sorry I sent her your way. This review does not require a reply so don't bother. JUST DO BETTER. NO EXCUSES WILL SUFFICE.
Welcoming, come as you are, small town church feel, mix of classic and modern worship hymns, excellent Bible teaching, wonderful community outreach programs, intergenerational, social services. Godly leaders rooted in the Word. Variety of programs for all ages and interests.
always very helpful and kind except today went in and women was on phone never looked at me just threw my slip in plie said nothing guy was nice to me and Granddaughter and he gave me a box but that was it I was like wow. Wish the director was there she knows me she is very nice and 😇
Our church, the Presentation of Blessed Virgin Mary, brings food to Salvation Army's food shelf weekly. I do the third week. God bless this charitable organization for feeding the poor. I believe that they received food from many sources with shelves for clients to pick various food items. I know they help the poor both spiritually and materially. What a beautiful organization!! Someone can write a better post than this but this my experience.
