Sage Ymca - Crystal Lake

Worse experience. Their app is horrible. Something is always not working with it and when you question why? whoever is in charge either blames the member instead of admitting that it’s their fault that needs fixing or cancels your class reservations or just ignores your concern completely. Upper management needs to take a closer look at what is happening at the Sage YMCA location. This is Not the first time this has happened nor will it be the last. Unacceptable and unprofessional. We are intelligent paying members and SHOULD NOT be treated like idiots.

Me and my friends go here to workout, swim, basketball, anything you can think of they have here. Employees are super nice, and every stranger you meet here is super kind aswell. Overall good prices for drinks and food and for the membership.

I joined for the pools. But they are pretty disgusting. People use them to rinse off after a workout! When I was there last week, a group of parents and their kids tracked in mud and muck onto the pool decks. Later the guards hosed it into the pool!

Complete lack of communication from the employees, particularly the front desk staff and aquatics. We tried to sign up for swim lessons twice. The first time we were told the pool was closed and that we would be better off waiting a couple weeks so we didn't get charged for the time the pool was closed. Two weeks went by and we signed up for class again. We got charged for the previous weeks and showed up to a pool that was still closed. No where on their website does it mention the pool being closed. We will be looking elsewhere for swim lessons.
