Went there for my Aunt Rosie Steinbacher funeral it was a beautiful service and the priest was very nice it was beautiful
Beautiful church inside and out. Very impressed by the interior set up for mass. Several services every day, and it a great location surrounded by beautiful homes in nice HOA neighborhoods.
Went to Sunday morning mass (9.30 I think) a couple of weeks ago while visiting family in KC. It was really busy, full of families. If you like a quieter mass I'd go earlier. It is a very pretty church, so big. I live in the UK where the Catholic churches tend to be quite small. Really enjoyed the Homily.
Our Parrish has so many great, mindful, and caring people. Just under 20 years ago, we started attending SHOJ while also attending St. John the Baptist on a less frequent basis. The ministry volunteers at SHOJ are truly there for others. There are many opportunities to become better Catholics, better spouses, better parents, and better people without being looked down upon, but be looked upon, included, welcomed. There is a special feeling of being at home at the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
