What Parents Say
Royal Learners receives mixed reviews. Positive reviews praise caring staff, educational activities, cleanliness, flexible hours, and safe environment. Negative reviews cite rude front desk staff and concerns about teacher yelling and phone use in the 2-year-old classroom.
We had a great experience here before needing to relocate for work. My daughter was in one of the 3 y/o classes and was always bringing home art and educational material (practicing writing the alphabet), she had completed each day. She’d surprise me with new things she would learn during circle time too! Facility was very clean and her teachers were so sweet. Hours are also nice, in that they open early and close later compared to a lot of other daycares, if you’re schedule varies or need that flexibility. Thank you, Royal Learners!
Both my boys attend and enjoy going to school each day. The staff is caring and management is willing to address any concerns. I also like that they get a lot of outside time when the weather is nice. We have tried a few different daycares, and I feel confident that my boys are safe and well taken care of at Royal Learners.
The front office staff was great, the facility was very nice, the children were safe and clean. Lots of attention to wiping surfaces down, etc. the kids also had a lot of structure which was awesome. There are also cameras which is great. I had my daughter in the two year old class and pulled her after a couple of weeks. Some of my concerns were the teacher being on her phone every single time I checked cameras. All day. I did see some of the aids engage more with the kids. However, my real issue was the yelling. Every day either at drop off or pick up I was shocked to hear very loud yelling from teachers and aids. It wasn’t warranted. I do not think it was malicious, I think it was just some bad habits. But that is not the right fit for our child. The last day I brought her, they yelled at a boy and made him cry. I picked my daughter up and walked right back out. Director was apologetic said she would handle this- I think a lesson on gentle correction, lowering voices, maturity, and some boundaries would fix this. If they address these issues, I’d recommend them.
My 2yr cook has been in daycare for about 3 months. His former teacher moved to his location 1 month ago, so I decided to inquire about enrollment. The lady at the front desk was very rude and hesitate about given me information as if she didn't want me at this school. Her vibe was very stand offish. I decided not to go further with enrollment.
We moved from New York with two children. We went to 3 other pre-schools in Peachtree City area and ended up at Royal Learners. My older one went to Pre-K and my younger one went to to 3's and he is now in Pre-K. Almost EVERY teacher there shows genuine interest in caring for the children. They all seem to love their job. It is a very loving environment. Both of my children learned very well there and they are well prepared for kindergarten.
