Better Bodies Fitness D/B/A World Gym

I've been a member for 6 years. I'm happy with my workouts here. In years past there were some issues, but all those issues are resolved (frequently no paper towels, machines out of order for too long, etc). The staff is very friendly and helpful. I feel like I get a good value for my monthly membership fee.

I have tried many times to start a workout routine, and have given up every time. Either I felt intimidated, overwhelmed or gave up motivation. NOT this time! I have been working with my trainer, Kristyn, for the past 2 months and always look forward to going to the gym now… complete 180! She is so positive and knows how to keep me motivated. As I’m getting stronger, I’m learning about my muscles and the best ways to make them stronger. She is so knowledgeable! Crazy as it seems… I think I’m slowly transforming into a gym rat! lol. The rest of the staff is super friendly & helpful also, They really make me feel comfortable with no judgements! Looking forward to a healthier me! In the mean time… Who IS this girl? I hardly recognize myself 😊 I love this place!

I retired 6 years ago from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta which required an hour or longer daily commute to Midtown. Upon retirement I joined OneLife Lexington which has been a lifesaver. I finally had time for me! My health and physical fitness is at a level I could never have imagined. I have lost weight, made new friends and honestly look forward to each early morning on the treadmill! Amanda Green at the reception desk is so friendly and knowledgeable. She has been helpful providing information on programs and amenities I was not aware of. I recently upgraded my membership level and am truly enjoying all these new perks. Check them out!

JP was super helpful as I was getting my membership set up. The facilities are very clean and inviting. Can’t wait to start crushing my fitness goals here.

The gym is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. I mostly take classes, but use the machines sometimes as well. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is because the pool lift has been inoperable for over a year. I would love for my son to join the gym for the pool and water exercise classes, but he has a disability and cannot get in/out of the pool on his own. I have asked when it will be fixed and the staff cannot give me an answer. It seems like someone at corporate has dropped the ball. Please, get the pool lift fixed.
