What Parents Say
Oxford Trails Academy receives mixed reviews. Most parents praise the staff's care, family-like atmosphere, and child development, but some parents report concerning supervision issues including staff inattention, safety lapses, and unresponsive management to complaints.
I have been looking for a daycare and found Oxford Trails Academy online where it was rated as the top. Starting off everything I thought was fine but as I would pick up my day from this establishment I noticed teachers would not pay attention to the children because they were glued to their phones. I came in the Tiny Tods classroom and both teachers were allowing the 2yrs to eat saltine crackers from off the floor and I had to grab my daughter to tell her we don’t eat off the floor. The classroom teacher was sitting at the children’s table on her computer doing whatever and can clearly see her toddlers eating from off the floor instead of cleaning the crackers off the floor so the 2yrs wouldn’t eat from the floor. Another time I came to pick up my child there was a 2yr boy in her class that was hitting all the kids and pushed my daughter down and I had to run in the class to yell no no no! The teacher turns around and says he’s been doing this all day and they didn’t call his parents to take him home to make any of the kids safe instead the toddlers had to take abuse from another child which is not fine in my book. After picking up my daughter from playing outside her teachers allowed her to put a green rubber object in her mouth which she could of choked on and I addressed these issues up front with they heavy set woman upfront and showed her pictures of the staff constantly on their phones. Even in the infant room the adults were too busy talking they had a baby laying down on the ground that couldn’t crawl or move another baby that was crawling was digging at the babies eye and I had to go up front to get Nicole and she wanted to lie to me saying the crawling baby was trying to get a pacifier and there was no pacifier. I was shocked that she would just make that up to keep her business going. Nicole and I had a conversation about her staff being on their phones phone and not watching the children she likes to say her staff are on a app from the daycare and clearly you can see that there not. Instead of Nicole taking responsibility that her teachers weren’t doing there job she wanted to address me on taking pictures of her staff not doing there job and watching the children like they should she wants me to do her job when she’s supposed to be checking on her teachers and children in her establishment. She wants me to report to her when for one I don’t work there and two it is her job and not mines to make sure these kids are safe. Next she wanted to be disrespectful to me in our conversation because her employees weren’t doing there job. For all you parents who let’s there children attend this establishment you might want to do random check ups because Nicole claims she’s to busy to do her job and to check on things in Oxford Trails Academy. I seen enough and I don’t condone on establishment not to take accountability for there lack of service and disrespect to me as the parent for not helping keeping an eye on their establishment. She never once apologized to me for being disrespectful or owned up to her staff for being on the phone when they should of been watching the children. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment due to my experience here! Parents check on your children!!!!
Our daughter attended here for about 5 months, and we withdrew her February of 2025 when she got into a center closer to our home. There was a lot of shuffling of teachers/staff in the infant room (not their fault) but the last day we went to pick her up, my husband went by himself and said she didn't have her pants on and they were trying to feed her purees and she was clearly upset/not wanting to eat but they kept trying which made her even more upset. It made us feel off. It didn't help that my daughter's favorite teacher left for another job offer. The infant room, while my daughter was there, had multiple electronic baby swings, which is fine, but there were several occasions when we picked her up and multiple babies were asleep in swings, some with blankets.
This place is a hidden gem in Peachtree City, the staff is incredible, more like family. My daughter is so loved and cared for. Quality education, foods and safe environment. I'm so glad I found yall. Definitely recommend them.
My son has been here for 2 months and after I visited all the daycares in PTC, I picked OTA for the place. I can say it was absolutely the right choice! My son is in the 2yr-old class and even though he's the youngest child in the class, he gets along with his class mates so well and always so happy to be with them and his fabulous teachers. Teachers always care for children -of course sometimes they may miss some minor incidents, which is,for me, not a big deal. The staffs always welcome every family and never hesitate to hear parents' words. Amazing teachers, staffs, families and foods!! I highly recommend this daycare to anyone who is seeking for some warm and family-like atmosphere daycare in Peachtree City.
No one cares for the children like the leadership at OTA. Go tour!
