What a difference Right Steps Wabash Landing has made in our lives! My child has received love, care and respect from her teachers and administrators from day one. If there is an issue- they listen and adjust. The support staff is fantastic and they truly care about your kids, too. It’s been fun to watch my child develop in an inclusive environment that is diverse and has great opportunities with Purdue being so close. It’s not just daycare- it’s partnering with intentional educators and want to see your child succeed. 10/10 would recommend.
One day I was walking past the park and witnessed a teacher and child interaction. It was awful. The little girl was nervous about going down a certain area in the playground, and the teacher was yelling at her telling her to go down. Then proceeded to say it’s not rocket science, and told her to not go that way again cause she couldn’t figure out how to do it herself. She is a child you have to offer help and teach them how to do things. This woman should not be allowed to be a teacher anywhere.
My 17-month old son has been coming here since he was just 9 weeks old. His teachers in both the infant room and toddler room have always provided wonderful, nurturing care. I’m very happy with the services we receive and the peace of mind knowing that he is being looked after and loved when I have to work.
My daughter was punched in the back by a boy, kicked numerous times by another boy, slapped by a 3rd boy (I was told by the director it was age appropriate and kids being kids), left to wander the halls by herself while I closed down my classroom since I was working for them, yelled at by teachers especially to wipe herself, was parented by several people in front of me even when I told them to stop since I wasn't on the clock. My youngest was wandering the hall with her sister not supervised, when she was an infant a teacher that's no longer with the company left her unsupervised across the room, let a child sit on her head during tummy time, and I was told by that same teacher them giving her something she wasn't allowed to have yet was not a big deal since they were stressed.
My children loved everything about this school.
