The 2 stars is for the treatment before to room change. It is less than one star because the daycare allowed such a reckless act without precautionary action before doing so. I brought my kids here before my husband and I got married. We were there for a couple months and everything was great with good communication with all teachers and their rooms. Then my little boy got moved up to a different room and different teachers for his age. Look I am a mandated reporter and childcare worker myself and I would not ever call DCFS for the little things these people called on me for and definitely not without being 100% sure that I know neglect or abuse is there. The new room his very 1st week in there called DCFS on me without the approiate actions such as discussing with me any concerns or talking to the teachers that know my family and have a good relationship with me. the other coworkers and his old teacher had no idea and were surprised. He literally just looked at him and thought this must be abuse, he is a boy that plays like a normal boy and his doctor said I am a good mom and everything is normal and good. As a teacher , I know how important it is that kids in a good home and good parents do not have to stress out. It is so unhealthy for a kid that is an good environment to be questioned and for a good parent to be scared or worried about anything or questioned. I would never want to do that to a parent what they did to me. I'm a good mom.I have always been a good mom. I felt I had to remove my kids from the daycare because I cant trust someone who would be so careless to call DCFS on a good parents. At the time, my husband was only my boyfriend.So a big part of me thought I was being discriminated against because I showed other student workers they can be a single mom of multiple kids and still get an education. Does daycare was really sweet in the beginning?But they allowed staff that were not good enough to teach. You are also the helper of a happy household. Causing stress to a good family does not help.
