What Parents Say
Providence Preschool receives mixed reviews. While some parents praise the preschool program, staff quality, and developmental outcomes for their children, numerous reviewers report significant administrative and customer service issues, including scheduling problems, long wait times, rude receptionists, and poor communication.
I got my son into his appointments I was happy knowing my boss could give me time off to make these 2pm appointments with my son. But to lose the time slot a week later due to something wrong on the medical state website they use. I got it fixed and unable to get his time slot back that he NEVER should have lost. I wish I could sue for the mental strain it's caused me. Do better Providence!
Very Horrible experience. Took my daughter for her appointment at 8:30 am. I got there 30 min early to sign in and all I’m seeing are other getting called up and new people coming in and getting called up right away. Got up multiple times to ask when we were getting called up and the front people just kept saying “in a few min” “we will change Dr’s” already an hour passes by. We got up and left. This has never happened to me before and honestly looking up at the reviews about this location says a lot about this. Yall need to do better.
It's a large facility that does groups of children at the same time (different rooms). Regional Center also sends a lot of kids here. If you're looking for something more private, Synergy Therapy does 1 on 1. Also they stopped Auditory Processing/Central Auditory Processing (CAPD) diagnosis 3 years ago.
This place will not help you at all. My child's Dr. sent over a referral countless times. David is the man they spoke to and they denied he ever received the referral. After months and months they call me the day of to tell me that my appointment is canceled. Not to mention the lady that takes care of the referrals is so rude and just wants to quickly hang up. Can this facility please hire people who actually want to work there and know how to properly do their job. This facility needs new or retrained staff. They lost their empathy for patients and their families.
Called this office to schedule an appointment based off of my son's pediatrician referral notice, and went through the automated menu that clearly said to press certain extension numbers to make an appointment with their speech and physical therapy office. The receptionist who answers is clearly hating life, she sounds so bored and done on a Thursday morning. She smartly responds that their office does not do physical therapy and that the provider needs to find another office for referral. I then mention that the automated voice prompted me to be transferred to this office, as I thought surely, this bored girl will redirect me to the proper office and number. I was wrong, she said they have nothing to do with the operator and it's not her concern. Not impressed. Maybe it's just Providence clinics? I know St Joseph offices give me superb customer service, but this one made me speechless. Definitely off-putting and they clearly need to replace these people who don't want to be there, and actually find people who have good customer service skills.
