The Children'S House

Rude staff, lots of amazing family memories for 26 years my family has been going there, 2 generations have gone there, and just recently a lady that works there we’ll call her “D” who my sister has known since she was 3, was extremely disrespectful to my sister over a question about why the kids can’t bring snacks, she rudely yelled at my sister and said “because that’s our rules” then my sister asked why she was treating her like that over a question to which she replied “ I don’t have time to argue with you, that’s our rules” then she said “go speak to the lady in the office” and my sister obliged, she went to the office and asked the same question, the lady in the office angrily “I put everything on the bulletin telling you why” so I’ll explain the reason she couldn’t do read it on her behalf, my sister is a mother of 2 children, she also works full time, she has my nephews baseball games and practices and his school, then she has a daughter who goes here and they’re pissed that she wasn’t able to read every last thing they’ve ever sent home. From the best impression with any other learning center to making the first place in utmost lack of respect.

We are so happy we found The Childrens House Preschool. We toured so many places around the area and this was the only one that "felt right." Our oldest daughter is 2 and she LOVES going to school. We always ask her if she likes school, her teachers, and her friends. The answer is always yes and she gets so excited. I like that they emphasize on getting the kids outside because kids need unstructured play and they need that Vitamin D! Moreover, the staff and Ms. Deann have been incredible with helping my littlest one transition to daycare. She requires a bit more care, so I was nervous to have her start, but it was the best decision. We all worked together to get her settled and everyone has been so patient and kind. They truly care about the wellbeing of each tiny individual.

My son has been attending Children's House for a while now. The preschool and day care are well run. The staff seem to have extremely low turnover. Many of the teachers I have talked to have been there more than 10 years and the director has been running the school for 35+ of the 55 years they have been around. This place has infant care, which is pretty rare and my son has received excellent kindergarten prep attending Children's House. The school has nice security, with gates and pass codes keypads at each entrance. Some of the best things are the included lunch and the flexibility of the staff to accommodate temporary shifts in our schedule, such as staying late when needed. And, if you are looking for you child to be taught bible stories, how to pray, and hear the Gospel, then this is the place!

The Children's place is a very nice daycare/pre-school. Teachers are very friendly and seem to care an awful lot for our daughter. She has been going here now for over 4 years and I sometimes have to drag her out because she has so much fun with her little friends...
