Upon visiting Providence Baptist church, I was greeted by several kind people. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. After grabbing some coffee I entered the sanctuary and marveled at how beautiful it was. The music was great! The message was very inspirational and Pastor Daniel is gifted with the word of God. My children raved about the children's ministry. All in all this is a wonderful church certainly blessed! I would highly recommend giving Providence a chance!
Providence Baptist is the first church where I've become an official member. the community is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and warm. There's a plethora of activities, and ways to contribute and support different ministries. And Pastor Daniel is very knowledgable and understanding. He has a lot of love for the congregation, and he is always available to help out those in need. His preaching is biblical and Christ-centered, and he does a wonderful job of presenting God's word in a way that is easily understandable. I personally love his expository preaching style. I am incredibly blessed to be at this church, and am very thankful God led me here.
My husband and I do not attend Providence Baptist Church in-person, but we view online. (We live in Southern California and met Daniel and his family when he was a pastor at Harvest.) We were privileged to be in a small group in Daniel's home where he led studies in Romans and 1 Corinthians. Also, Daniel oversaw the Deepening Your Faith/Apologetics ministry that gave us a solid foundation for our Christian worldview. Daniel takes to heart 2 Timothy 2:15 and carefully and correctly explains God's Word. God has used him to teach us how to study the Bible - exegesis/seeking the original intended meaning of text. As believers, we should steer clear of those teachers who make the Bible say whatever they want (eisegesis). With Pastor Daniel, you will get God's Word carefully taught for His glory. (The hubby says, "Daniel teaches deep biblical truth in a way that it is easy to understand - truly an anointed teacher.") During a Bible study, I remember Pastor Daniel saying, "Much of the New Testament is about loving the brethren." Loving the brethren can't be done in isolation. You will be loved well and will be able to love others at Providence Baptist Church.
Providence Baptist Church is welcoming from the moment you walk in. The pastor refreshingly teaches straight from the Bible and the members were sweet and inviting. You get that feeling of being "at home" when you walk through the building. My children were enthusiastically welcomed and included and get excited to go every week...which of a huge blessing to this mama's heart.
A truly God-loving church! Everyone greets you warmly, reminiscent of old times. The music is awesome, and the church's architecture is stunning, featuring beautiful designs that inspire awe and reverence.
