Our daughter started at Poko Loko when she was about 3 months and as a first time mom I was super nervous. It didn’t take very long for me to get comfortable with the women taking care of our girl!! The ladies in the infant building are absolutely wonderful, caring, and loving. Our daughter LOVES daycare and gets a huge grin on her face any time she sees us going into the red doors. I couldn’t have asked for a better daycare situation. We moved to the toddler building and the teachers have been so great with the transition. They are all a team and they all care so deeply for the kiddos. They’re all tenured and long-term employees, which also speaks volumes for how the business treats its employees.

Every teacher we’ve encountered has been TRULY exceptional, but we especially want to recognize our daughters teacher, Nadia in Room 1 — she is an absolute gem! Ms. Nadia consistently goes above and beyond to make each day special for the kids. Her kindness, creativity, and attentiveness have made a huge impact on our daughter, who absolutely loves going to daycare every day. It’s clear that Ms. Nadia genuinely cares and takes pride in creating a nurturing and engaging environment. The entire center is warm, welcoming, and filled with love — exactly what you want for your little one’s first school experience. The infant center, led by Angie, is absolutely outstanding. Angie sets the tone with her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for the babies. She takes the time to know each family personally and ensures every child’s needs are met with patience and care. The teachers in the infant and toddler rooms are amazing — so attentive, nurturing, and thoughtful in everything they do. They celebrate every milestone, communicate daily, and create a calm, happy environment where babies can grow and thrive. The teachers in the young toddler room lead incredible arts and crafts for the children to participate in on a daily basis. As our child has moved through the program, we’ve continued to be so impressed with how engaging and developmentally appropriate the activities are. The teachers make learning fun and encourage curiosity, independence, and confidence at every stage. We are so grateful for Angie and the entire Poko Loko team — their warmth and dedication give us such peace of mind every day. We couldn't be happier with our decision to trust Poko Loko-Glenview with our son's care. Teachers in the infant section were very knowledgeable, patient, and caring. We were impressed with our son's development and his teachers provided him with just the right toys and activities. They proactively communicated any updates (such as ouchies, or that a stomach bug was going around, etc.). Poko Loko has been an amazing place for our son to grow and make friends. And as first-time parents, it has been an invaluable support system for us.
