Glenview Methodist Pre-School

This is our first year with a child attending preschool at Glenview Methodist Preschool and we have nothing but wonderful things to say! Our child needed special accommodations for a health condition and the director as well as teachers have done an an amazing job of ensuring our child has a safe and healthy environment. Every day our child is excited to learn and interact with friends and teachers. We look forward to enrolling our younger children as well. We highly recommend GMPS to other families!

My son graduated last year and I just realized that I never left a review! The main reason I chose GMPS is because it is a play-based preschool. That's how I found it - I googled play-based preschool near me. It ended up being a great choice for my son. Quite a few options for programs, nice and friendly staff, awesome teachers. Exactly what I was looking for!

We started at GMPS last year after making the change from full time day care to nanny + preschool as we prepared for our third child to arrive. GREAT experience being new to the school. My kids were completely welcomed as was our whole family. My son who was in the 2's at the time has multiple food allergies and asthma. I've been very impressed with the staff's knowledge on both issues and really appreciate the inclusiveness of the school - modified snacks lists and a peanut free environment! Now in our second year, both the children and I have made so many friends. And as my oldest started Kindergarten this year, he had 2 friends from preschool in his class which was such a help for both of us with the transition! The teachers are fantastic and my 3 year old is so excited to go to school each day. We've seen his personality just blossom with the play based curriculum. And he loves "lunch bunch" once a week with his buddies. As a FT working mom, its been a great, supportive environment. We didn't grow up here but now I feel like we're really part of the Glenview community. Can't say enough good things! Love it!

We are beyond delighted with Glenview Methodist Preschool! The teachers are outstanding - from their expertise to their absolute delight in making preschool a special place for kids and parents too! Their play based philosophy and attention to your child's needs is remarkable. They have unique and fun approaches to all sorts of things that we want for our kids. Also I am impressed with their approach to food and free time...fruits and veggies for snacks (even from the school garden) and play outside or in the big gym on the super cold and rainy days. You are in excellent hands and have an abundant number of resources to lean on when you are part of the Glenview Methodist Preschool community.

GMPS is a wonderful little school in the heart of Glenview. My two children (ages 2&4) currently attend and absolutely love it. The teachers provide a very comfortable and welcoming environment and the extended offerings are a hit with both the kids and parents. Highly recommend!
