Peppermint Pattys Day Care & Preschool

We have been taking my infant son here for a few months now and we couldn’t be happier with this place. It’s got the coziness of an in-home daycare with the safety and functionality of a center. My son is so happy here and the teachers are fantastic. I feel so safe leaving him in their care and I also feel like they truly love and adore him. I wish we had found this place when our older son needed daycare. Highly, highly recommend!

When I requested a meeting with the director, Audra, to address my complaints regarding her passive aggressive, condescending, disrespectful ways of communicating to me, as a parent whose children have attended there 2+ years, her resolution was “I just won’t talk to you anymore”. I guess an apology and accountability is too big of an ask for a “grown” woman. I’ve witnessed her yell at employees and bring them to tears, I’ve witnessed staff aggressively slam children down, so who knows what really takes place when parents are not in the vicinity. I’ve picked my kid up a number of times with soggy or poop diapers. The director threaten to call the police on me because I left my car running while going to pick up my child…Something almost every parent does. The director is unprofessional so no wonders why she can’t keep a staff.

Had a good experience when my son was a baby so we tried going back. The director and his teacher had multiple meetings with me stating that they believe my child was autistic due to him not speaking very much or putting his own shoes and clothes on. My child was 2 and placed in a classroom with 4 and 5 year Olds, they called it a "mixed" class and they were surprised he was not on the older kids level. I took him to the doctor multiple times who he talked to and she had zero concerns. He did not qualify for a sped evaluation at that time through the school district. He is now 4 and speaks fine and is able to do everything on his own but the child care staff here will try to diagnose your children which is completely out of their scope of practice and unacceptable. On top of that, they aren't very nice to our kids. I was very unhappy with the service I was provided and the distress it caused me. They need to look at finding a director and staff who actually enjoy being around children.

As a father of a 2 and a 1/2 year old, I am blown away by the quality of care and determination at this center. My wife and I went through 2 other daycare centers before coming here. The staff are top class and fail to disappoint. Every time we arrive to drop off or pick up our daughter, we are met with a controlled enviroment with lots of smiles. The children get along well and even when they don't, they are redirected in a fashion that is expected of a top tier learning enviroment. These people WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR KIDS and not just by making sure they are fed and warm. We have been given reasonable and educated suggestions to help our daughter grow and improve as she has attended this daycare for the last 1 and a 1/2 years. I have peace of mind every day knowing they are watching my daughter. They care about every child's wellbeing, their interests, and yours. Life is full of change and if you need that then bring your kids here. This will be one of the greatest decisions you make for your family and we will be bringing our future kids here for sure!

I love this daycare! They care so much about my daughter and take good care of her. Audra (the director) stays informed with all the kids and creates open communication with us (the parents). They are understanding and work with my family and I. Thank you peppermint patties!
