What Parents Say
PENTA CAREER CENTER is a vocational high school (not a daycare) in Perrysburg, Ohio with consistently excellent reviews. Students praise the diverse career programs, dedicated teachers, supportive environment, and practical real-world experience that prepares them for post-graduation success.
Penta is awesome! They have many programs to help high school students be prepared for a career. The teachers are caring and go above and beyond what they have to do to see students succeed.
I graduated last year and spent my junior and senior year at Penta. I didn’t have many friends at my homeschool and felt like an outsider. Coming to Penta made me feel extremely welcomed and I made many friends here. I have so many cherished memories from PCC. Though I am not currently pursuing what I went here for (I was in ITA), I still highly recommend going to Penta for the connections you’ll make alone! Not even mentioning almost every teacher I had was some of the best I had in all my years of being in school. I miss going to school here every single day!
I went there for the COVID-19 vaccine and I liked their infrastructure. Must been an interesting place to be in.
After one year my son has had enough and is going back to his school for multiple issues this year that weren't addressed properly. Also the pick up after school is an absolute joke complete madness they really need to get a better system... oh I don't know maybe open up the other exit so it's not so congested. Just a thought
Complete lack of communication with this school. No preparation emails regarding upcoming school year or events that are occurring. Nothing provided as to what our students need to be admitted to specific programs. As a result of a medical concern, my student struggled throughout the school year and significantly at the end. Absolutely no communication from the teachers or office staff. One teacher (now retired) told me "they should know what to do in the case of not attending class in person". Only one other teacher responded and was the only one with compassion. Once a diagnosis was provided, absolutely no aid was provided and my student was denied additional services or testing (for IEP). Even now my student failed 2 classes. I happen to keep up with their grades, but NO ONE from the school ever contacted me about these concerning behaviors nor advised us as to what our options were to make up these classes. Severely disappointed with such a highly rated school.
