CDC Harbortown is a great place for any young kiddos to attend and learn. Our son has been there for 3 years now and his growth has been evident. The entire staff does a great job fostering an environment for the kids to learn and also have fun. I have also been impressed with the educational curriculum. Great all around experience for our son and family.
Look no further than Children’s Discovery Harbor Town for your childcare needs. My kids have been there from infants through Pre-K and my oldest even Kindergarten. We have been blessed with wonderful teachers and kids fully prepared for school upon graduation. The childcare provided is top notch and my kids love school. We have also used the school age summer camp program and the kids are kept BUSY and ACTIVE the whole summer. There is no better program. Additionally, the teachers and administrators have been great to work with as our family has gone through many medical journeys and supported my son and his learning needs while working with the local school district to support his needs.
If you are in need of childcare I would highly recommend CDC. All three of my children have attended and we’ve loved our experience here. The centers are clean and set up to encourage learning and my children are excited to come every day. The staff are friendly and communicate daily activities which I love.
Great staff and teachers. They really care about the kids and your just not another number. My kids always learn new things and there meals are nutritious. This is also a faith based organization so your kids will learn about the bible and the true meaning of religious holidays. I can not reccomend more.
This used to be the premier daycare in Perrysburg. I recently had my child enrolled in after school care. They advertise to be an education focused center, but that did not apply in my experience. After school kids are crammed into a room with constant chaos. My child attempted to do homework during this time, but could not concentrate. They also seem to focused on their own finances more than anything else. The first of this year they no longer take payments in the center. Your two options are 1) automatic bank draft 2) credit card over a third party website that charges a 2.8% fee. I pay with a credit card (dependent care account) and kept forgetting to grab the handout with the website address on it I was provided. On Wednesday (two days after my $100 payment was due) I received an email stating I had until Friday to pay them or my child would not be allowed into the center and I would have to pay $65 to re-enroll. On Thursday they called me on the phone with the same threat. I found a $65 fee on a $100 service a bit absurd. I also felt threatening to lock out a kid who is dropped off by the school bus was too much. I sent an email to inquire how much notice I was obligated to give. I picked up my son that day a his teacher had told him the next Friday was his last day. I had intended to discuss this with my child myself, but was not able to thanks to an unprofessional teacher. We removed our child from this center and will not be back.
