Pathways Early Learning Center Of Port Orange

My son was accepted into early head start, he is 1 years old. When i went to the appointment to enroll him things were very weird. First when i sat down to do the paper work she asked me if i was ready to sign my life away...kind of weird thing to say but i let it go and laughed it off... Evette, the Early Head Start advocate received a call at her desk from another lady in the front building, saying that there was a police officer driving through the shopping center plaza...There was definently panic in everyone's voice as they were peering through the blinds looking for police as if they were doing wrong. In most cases when people act like that when police come around is because they are doing wrong or have something to hide..So I did not take lightly to their panic. Come to find out he was only doing a check up of the area..I continued through the appointment keeping my thoughts to myself. My son eats fruits, veggies chicken ect....they were trying to tell me that while he is at daycare that he will be drinking formula when he has been off formula for a few monthd. So now im supposed to start him back on formula just so he can go to daycare...??? I dont think so. Once i got home and thought about the appointment i became more and more disturbed and decided my son would NOT go there. I also did some research on them and read reviews and boy am I glad I did not send my child there. There are too many screwed up people who like to hurt and mistreat kids. With my son only being 1 years old he cant verbally tell me whats going on. Evette really rubbed me the wrong way and I pride my self on being intuitive and reading people. Bad vibes all across the board. What sticks with me the most is the panic they all had when police came and the way they were peering through the blinds. Something just was not right about the situation....No matter how nice someone seems or how big their smile is, people are fraudulent as hell and will snake you as soon as they get a chance.

All of the other reviews on here are referring to one situation that happened. Other than the one situation this is the best day care in town. My daughter loves her teachers and looks forward to going to school every day.

Very disturbing daycare doesn't have the best security. Any parent that leave there kid here is a unfit parent

Love it! My son has learned a lot and everyone there is just amazing!
