What I love most about PCUMDS is how loved all the children are and the diversity in their teaching staff. The teachers are well trained and always lead with love. They really go out of their way to build a strong sense of community at this school. The curriculum is very strong. Your not getting a regular daycare experience, you're getting a school readiness experience in a loving setting. Our family enjoyed being at PCMDS for 3 years. It's a well run and well organized school and a parent community. 10/10 recommend PCUMDS
Annual pecan sale! Even if you didn't preorder, they have extra 5 lb boxes, 1 lb bags etc. Great price, very fresh! Also pen 11-2 Sunday Nov 16.
Our older son has attended PCMDS for 3 years now and our youngest son for one year. We cannot say enough good things about the school, the teachers, the administration or our experience. We love the communication between the teachers, director, PTA and the parents, all the events parents are invited to and how involved we were able to be on campus. Our children truly LOVE going to school here and have created wonderful friendships--between all the holiday events, the hands-on learning, the great playgrounds and art/music classes. Our older son is beyond prepared for Kindergarten after his VPK year here as well. We will truly miss this school once he graduates and cannot recommend it enough!
We started our daughter at PCUMDS in the 2s program in August of 2023. My husband went to Palma Ceia 30 years ago as a toddler and his family raved about this program. I will admit I was sad to leave our first school but I am so incredibly happy we made the switch. We love the small class sizes and family atmosphere of this school. My daughter is constantly talking about her friends and teachers and we are amazed at how much she has learned this past school year. The teachers/staff are so incredibly caring and it fills my heart with joy when teachers of all age levels and staff stop and talk to my daughter (and me) whenever they see us on campus. Our son will be starting in the 1s program this August. The teachers and staff already consider him a part of the PCUMDS family and will always stop to say hi to him when he tags along for pick up and drop off. This truly is a special school and we have formed great relationships with parents and staff through the many on and off campus events throughout the school year. We love this school!!
Our daughter has attended PCMDS for 3 years now, since she was 6 months old. Being church members, we felt the school was the best place to provide an enriching and nurturing environment for our children. Once we started at the school, it was very clear to see that it does an exceptional job providing care to these young children. All of the kids are so sweet and you can tell that the faculty and staff really cares for these kids like they are their own. Every year, we have had nothing but wonderful things to say about our daughter's teachers and she always comes home with a smile on her face. The communication ap that is used is also great as we get updates and photos throughout the day of what our daughter is up to in the classroom. We also feel confident that PCMDS has provided our daughter with the fundamentals as we look to her continuing her education in a VPK/elementary program. Not to mention, we have made friends with some wonderful families along the way. We plan to send our son to PCMDS this fall when he turns 6 months old and couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
