They cut off my snap said that I am not a resident of Louisiana. Said I also work at a company that I don't.. really sad
very rude and disrespectful the man in the front. The man asked if he can get help on the computer with a guy when he gave him an application. He didn’t understand how to work a computer, but so the man left and said that he’ll get one of his family members to help him with the application.
It’s a nice place, fairly quick service (no waiting and wasting an entire day for “your number to be called”). The workers are very nice and will help with what they can. But my biggest complaint is they’re really more like the middle-man in handling things. For example; say you need to bring in papers or forms, don’t think as soon as you brought them to this office your in the clear of reaching that deadline date that forms sometime have. They do not fax your forms to the Head Office in Batron Rouge, nor do they enter any information about your case in the computers. All they do is what you can do yourself - shove the forms/documents in an envelope and send it off in the mail. Their resources seem to be somewhat limited. Once my EBT Card got locked and after multiple failed attempts to speak to a live person to get my card unlocked or see when it will be available for use again; I went into this office to try get info. They told me they can’t do anything about that, to call the phone number on the back of the EBT Card. But the only good thing that number is good for is to check your balance(s). Smh.
Me and my husband spent over a year trying to get my niece out of foster care we did every thing they asked us to do a week before Thanks giving we get a call from case worker Emily she does not even tell us sorry all she says is I know u been waiting for months for a court date but we just held a hearing and we are keeping her with foster parents who have now adopted her and we will never see again and we were told they want to keep family involved but not heared one thing and the only reason we were denied was because they said she was there to long it was less then a year and me and my husband visited every time they let us with out fail never missed
The employee at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. In my opinion the employee went the extra mile to help. Thank you so much.
