Oaktree Kids Academy

Absolutely LOVE Oak Tree for my two boys. I was recommended this place by my mother since my two sisters attended here years ago and to this day they still rave about this place. My youngest attends full time and my oldest is there after school hours (they pick him up from school and transport him to the daycare). The staff and all the teachers are so caring and nice — you can tell they really care about my boys just as much as I do. I’ve never had any issues with worrying if my kiddos enjoy their time there. Not to mention they are about the most affordable in this area. Even after their 12 week special expires they have great pricing.

I made the mistake of trusting them with my 3 yr old son. Now my son and I have PTSD from the experience. They didn’t care for him properly and he kept getting hurt. Everything an incident would happen. They would say it was either his fault or they weren’t aware that it had happened. The teacher was never around to witness anything. The last incident that happened, they claimed another child pushed my son and he fell and hit his head. They said the teacher was coming out of the restroom and saw the fall. When I picked my son up and took him home. My son fell comfortable to tell us what really happened. It turns out the other kid pushed him down, kicked him in his stomach, kicked him in his private area and kicked him under the chin. And the saddest part was that he said the teacher was there. When we call back that afternoon to speak with them the never took my call. The next day when we finally got on to them spoke about what my son said, they didn’t even deny it. I asked them if they’d checked the cameras and they told me the cameras doesn’t work. But just the Thursday before when I had turned in our one week notice and reported my dissatisfaction, I received a call from one of the managing staff and her words was that when she was told that I was taking him out and she watched me talking about my reasons, she was sad about it because then in management wasn’t aware. So how was she able to watch me making my complain Thursday but the cameras stopped working on Monday when my child got hurt and they were caught covering it up. As of the Tuesday following the incident my son no longer goes there. I know I will probably never know the truth of what really happened there but this is my experience and I hope it helps someone else.

Absolutely love Oak Tree Kids Academy. I've been an Oak Tree parent since 2016, with two children. My kids are happy to go to day care each morning, my daughter asks to join their summer program each year. The consticency in staff, even through COVID has always impressed me. My kids never had COVID, which speaks to Oak Trees commitment to hygenic protocols. My daughter excelled in kindergarten thanks to Oak Trees preK program, and I get daily feedback when picking up my son, and weekly homework projects to reinforce his learning. Mrs Debra and Mrs Olga are household names in our family!

So glad I decided to enroll my son here. The ladies are awesome and know how to make the kids feel so loved. My son was three when I enrolled him and he adjusted so quickly and had learned so much in the little bit of time her was there before the pandemic. I recently enrolled him back in this August and it was as if he had never left. The my left such a positive impression on his little mind and heart that again he readjusted really quick. Besides the prices being really affordable, the quality is definitely there.

My 2 yr old daughter loves going to “school”. She loves getting up in the morning when I say it’s time for school. She comes home singing all the songs she learned in school and of course showing mommy the hand motions and dances to go with them. It’s a small atmosphere which makes everything more personable. Staff at Oaktree are always so pleasant and understanding. We are pleased that our daughter is loved and loves Oaktree Academy.
