All my life, I longed to find a church that was truly Christ-centered, and in 2018, I found it at New Life. Being part of this church has completely transformed my walk with God. If you’re searching for a place that preaches straight from the Bible rather than offering feel-good motivational talks, this is it. New Life challenges you to build a personal relationship with Jesus and helps you find a community so you never have to walk through life alone. Yes, the congregation is large, and that can feel overwhelming at first, but there are countless small groups where you can connect with people who share similar interests or are in the same season of life. After every service, the pastors make it a point to shake hands, talk with people, and truly engage. Something I find incredibly meaningful. There are also many ways to serve in different ministries, which is such an important part of living out the Christian faith. Still, the best way to know if New Life is the right place for you is to experience it yourself so watch their livestreams or come visit in person on a Sunday. Remember, you’ll know you’re in the right church when the Word of God aligns with what the church teaches and practices.

I attended the Christmas Eve service with my one year old, who was babbling and not crying. During the service, I was told to go to the mommy’s room because of the baby noise. Remember this service was meant to be for families and child friendly. While I understand that the church has a mom’s room, being directed there for normal baby babbling felt exclusionary rather than supportive. Babies make sounds and that’s part of family life and community. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel unwelcome as a parent, and I won’t be returning. I hope the church reflects on how it approaches families with young children in the future.

Awesome church. Great people, fabulous facilities, motivating services and makes new comers feel welcome. Childcare is provided and there’s something for all ages. Lots of free parking and many handicap stalls for those who need it. 2 services on Sunday at 9:15 and 11:15 and a Wednesday service at 7. There are also small groups for men and women as well as special group meetings that last about 3-4 months on Sundays. Pastors here are the best we came across looking for churches and we’ve decided to make stick with this church for 7 years so far.

I grew up in this church and have so many meaningful memories tied to New Life. After moving away for some time, I recently returned to town and was hopeful to reconnect with the community that once felt like home. Sadly, I was deeply disappointed by what I experienced. The new leadership has taken a direction that feels completely out of place for a house of worship. I was shocked by how vocal the new pastors and their families are about their political support for Trump, especially on social media. I’ve always believed that church should be a sanctuary—a place for spiritual growth, healing, and peace—not a platform for political expression or division. Everyone is entitled to their personal beliefs, but when pastors use their position to publicly and repeatedly align the church with a political figure, it becomes alienating. It sends a message that only those who share those views are fully welcome. That is not the message of Christ, nor is it the purpose of the Church. It breaks my heart to say it, but New Life no longer feels like a spiritual home for me. I hope the leadership takes time to reflect on the impact of their actions—not just on social media, but on the congregation as a whole. People come to church to connect with God, not to be pulled into political rhetoric.
