All 3 of my kids have attended New Horizon Academy over the last 2 years and we have been very impressed! While there has been some turnover in teachers, the way the school has handled it has been way better than our previous day care and the teachers that have been consistent are spectacular. I especially like the curriculum and how excited my girls get about the activities—going on bug hunts during the insect unit and building cardboard forts during the box unit were particular favorites!
Both of my children attend New Horizons Boise Avenue and they love it! My husband and I have been so impressed, as well. The staff is lovely, caring and supportive, and they have incredible patience. My children are learning in a safe, clean, and fun environment!
We absolutely love all the teachers at NHA! We have not had a bad experience and our child loves their classroom. They are also so easy to talk to and understanding in hard times.
My oldest (who is now 8) went here for several years and we were heartbroken to leave. The staff felt like family and I had no complaints! My daughter was always happy, clean, well taken care of, and learned so much to prepare her for school! I now have a toddler and am happy to see that the same director, Brandy, is still there! She is amazing. We will be sending our son here as well and can’t wait to be back. I toured a few other daycares closer to home since this one is a little drive for us but I saw some questionable things. I would rather drive a little farther for the peace of mind that new horizon gives me! Communication is great & back when my daughter was enrolled they offered so many fun things for the kids like dance classes, Spanish, picture day, arts & crafts, summer camps, etc. We can’t wait for our son to learn and grow here!
Our infant son has been going to New Horizon for almost 6 months now, and it has been so great! It is so hard to leave your baby, but the staff are superb, and love our boy like their own. We love getting the photos and updates, and he is so excited to see his teachers every morning.
