New Horizon Academy

I LOVE everyone here at new horizon maplewood everyone is so genuinely sweet nice loving & caring! The communication is top tier, getting to know the family of the children is top tier, the love they have for the kids is the most heartfelt thing ever! My son loves everyone here and vice versa! They’ve helped so much with his learning, being nice, sharing and more I’m very thankful for them!

The toddler teacher Ms. Amiyah in the toddler room is such an amazing teacher! She is such outstanding staff. Every time I see her she is in a cheerful mood and always greet’s the children when they walk in. She’s energetic, polite and extremely helpful with the adults and students. On a pin board it says she’s been there a year but she seems so experienced with kids. She makes the kids feel important, and my child will not stop asking for her ever at home hahaha. Very happy she chose childcare, and I just want to make it aware, if you have a toddler and starting new horizon ask for Amiyah

I am leaving this review to compliment the staff and the director Sara. Sara helps make sure the teachers who are chosen for their positions care about their work and most importantly the children they work with. I love that staff refer to all the children as friends creating an environment where kids feel comfortable and everyone has a friend. They include parents in the activities through family photos and invites to after school activities when they have them. I’m so grateful for everyone there that help me have a peace of mine when I have to work. I know my babies are in great hands. God bless the staff at this New Horizon!

My child has been at this location since she was 6 months old. The teachers know her well and has treated her with kindness and respect. I’ve never had to question anything when it came to my daughter. My daughter also had a speech delay & times when she didn’t know how to speak and only scream, the teachers were so patient with her and helped her receive the things she wanted/needed. A lot of people don’t know how to work with kids with delayed speech or as they call it “Border line autistic” and the teachers/manager at New Horizon does and I applaud them for that.

I'm a first time mom and I'm defiantly THAT helicopter mom. Leaving my baby girl with people I don't know was so terrifying and I was so nervous. This New Horizon, in short, has been nothing but absolutely amazing, reassuring, compassionate and understanding. To name a few of the teachers (Gina, Michelle, Ann, Jackie, Daesha and so many more) make me feel so confident and comfortable with my baby staying there while I'm at work. I get anywhere from 2 - 5 photos of her PER DAY and every single photo my daughter has the biggest smile on her face, you can just tell she loves her teachers so much. My favorite ones are when Michelle or Gina are reading to her or talking to her, it makes me feel so much better she's not missing out on any snuggles while I'm away. You're able to message the teachers throughout the day on an app which makes communication easy. I feel bad sometimes because I'll check in often or ask my many first-time-mom questions. They always get back to me quick and are always patient with me. All in all, I'm very happy with my choice to send my daughter here. No doubt in my mind, I know she's getting some of the best care with the teachers they have. I can't say enough good things about this staff. THANK YOU!
