If you want to know what it feels like walking into open arms. This is the place to be, every Sunday. The word hits your spirit with divine timing. Teamwork keeps the faith alive here and also, Proverbs 27:17 Iron Sharpens Iron.
Mt. Carmel Preschool exceeded our hopes for our son for age 3-4. Every day we picked him up happy. He looked forward to going to school and loved his teacher Miss Kristen. He often asked on weekends if he had school. He truly enjoyed all of the teachers and staff. They had such wonderful themes, our son loved making projects, science class, experiments and music. He sings daily at home, taught us so many new songs and brought home many childhood favorites too. He learned so much while having a lot of fun. He loves writing his name and writes all of the letter of the alphabet. He knows and recognizes the first letter of each classmates name. The small size school and classes were a bonus. Every teacher and staff knows each child and our child knew each one of them. Miss Carol, the director, is a wonderful person and runs an incredible program that’s organized with outstanding communication. She’s created a school that makes everyone feel like family. This positive environment is so important during these early years of school for children. Their programming was amazing. Some of our favorites included the Turkey Trot, school play, pumpkin patch, open Sanctuary where parents could start the day with the kids almost monthly to watch them sing morning songs. Each child got to pick a song. Special lunch days where they made pizzas, ate waffles and more was fun. So many neat programs that surprised us in the most heartwarming way. Their holiday play and performance was incredible. I can’t believe our son got to dress up and have a line in a play at age 3! He still remembers his line. He still talks about his first race, tshirt, medal and how fast they ran. We are grateful for the love and care they gave the kids and for all that they did there. We are so sad we won’t be returning for PreK this year due to our move. We toured several preschools in two areas after moving and nothing compared. We’ve started our new school it makes us miss Mt. Caramel! My husband and I both say that we found a special gem going to Mt. Carmel. Mt. Carmel, from the bottom of our hearts we can’t thank you enough for the positive impact you had on our son and for being one of the best things in our life during our first year in Georgia. Came for the annual BBQ that is superb. The volunteers that work this affair work very hard. The food is wonderful. I wish them much luck in future BBQ events.
I'm sure it's a great church, but their barbecue is too die for. Every Spring and Fall!
We go here for scouts. It's an older building but has everything you would want in a church building. Fellowship hall, classrooms and meeting rooms.
