Mount Olivet has been a blessing for my sister, Jodi, who recently needed inpatient rehab after breaking her femur. The staff has been incredibly attentive to her medical needs, identifying issues that had been missed prior to arriving at Mount Olivet. They have worked with her respectfully on pain management and consistently assist her with tasks, such as eating, that are challenging due to her multiple sclerosis. The staff's kindness extends beyond medical care. They engage with Jodi personally, learning about her family and making her feel at home. Every staff member we have encountered has been professional and compassionate, treating patients and families with dignity and respect. Their holistic approach to healing has brought out Jodi's fun-loving side, and we are grateful for their support during this challenging time. Thank you, Mount Olivet, for seeing the person, not just the diagnosis.

My mom had been in this facility for over 2 years. My brother was also here for 6 months. I must say I am surprised at the low rating. The staff are very consistent (not a lot of turn around), the prices are all inclusive (which makes billing very straight forward). They provide everything their residence need (3 meals plus coffee and snacks throughout the day, toiletries, laundry and housecleaning) with the exception of hair salon & gift shop (both onsite). Most importantly, the staff "know" their residence and most all have a genuine, loving, care for them all. It is very clean building too.
My mom was there for 4 years. The quality of care really varied from floor, to floor, staff to staff. Even room quality varied greatly, so make sure you look at ALL options. I was generally very disappointed with the nursing leadership and executive leadership. Some TR staff, some nurse managers, some aides and some PT staff were excellent.
I am shocked to see the negative review. My father was there for several years well into the later stages of Alzheimer's so as a result our family members stopped by daily. They were absolutely wonderful. Dad love it there and he was well cared for. The staff went well above the care he got any where else. We used several other facilities while family members were on vacation or receiving medical care as well as a hospices facility at the end and none compared to the care at Mt. Olivet Day Services.
