What Parents Say

The facility is noted for its cleanliness, diversity, community engagement, and structured approach that supports child development from infancy through preschool.
I LOVE this center . My son is disabled and has an IEP , Mr victor and really all his staff take the time to actually teach my son things he has grown so much since enrolling. My son needs a very strict structure and they abide by that and work with his therapists . I love seeing the same staff on a daily basis and Andrew and Elizabeth are professional and understand my son and I . This for me is high quality for me I can’t wait to have my other son he will be enrolled as well . I also went here at my 3 year olds age and LOVED it .
YWCA took amazing care of my child. My daughter enrolled at YWCA starting as an infant and went through toddler and preschool rooms. Her teachers made every effort to ensure she was happy, healthy, safe, and developing well with her peers. Every classroom she went through was amazing. Her teachers have experience in the field along with degrees and certifications in education. The diversity (staff and children) at YWCA was the a major contributor to my daughter’s success and choosing YWCA as a child care. I highly recommend enrolling your child at YWCA downtown as it’s a high quality program. My daughter had an amazing experience at YWCA that prepared her for kindergarten. YWCA is very connected to the community. Lots of family engagement/events for families. Plus they have internal scholarships available for families.
I recently visited this YMCA location, and I must say, it's one of the cleanest and most well-maintained facilities I've ever experienced. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, making the process of obtaining my 3-day pass a breeze. Once inside, I was impressed by the extensive selection of free weights and machines, as well as the spacious layout that allowed for a comfortable workout environment. This YMCA truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness facility.
The YWCA sucks and it always has. A classic tale of “actions speak louder than words.” They say all the right things but treat their patrons like criminals. No empathy, no understanding.
I joined this gym about 3 months ago and have had a very positive experience. All of the staff members are very friendly, it isn't too busy, and the instructors for the classes really get to know you and your needs. I am one of those people that prefers cardio machines and classes over free weights and it fits my needs for both. I don't think I've ever had to wait for a cardio machine.
