We’ve had such a great experience with this daycare. The director, Miss Liz, truly goes above and beyond — she’s always helpful, creates such a warm and positive environment for the kids, and is even there after hours making sure everything runs smoothly. You can tell she genuinely cares about the children, and that makes all the difference. My kids have been attending here for a while now, and the teachers are, for the most part, always wonderful and caring with them. Thank you for all that you do — stay awesome, Miss Liz!
We LOVE New Horizon Marquette for our 13 month old son. Truly could not be more pleased with the loving care he receives from his teachers. The leadership is great as well. His teachers have been consistent. We receive frequent updates during the day and they seamlessly accommodate me coming to feed him in the mother’s room. We are always welcome to stop in and are greeted with a warm welcome. I do wish it was a little cleaner but I’m willing to look beyond that because the experience is so positive overall. Highly recommend.
New Horizon Marquette is amazing! The facility is kept clean. The staff there are wonderful & very loving towards the children. I’ve sent all 3 of my kids to this location, & they transitioned from each class from 6 weeks & up. I’ve moved a few times in the past causing me to find closer childcare but always found myself coming back to them & we are always welcomed back with open arms. 20/10 recommend!
My daughter LOVES her toddler teachers and still has a wonderful connection with her previous teachers. She has thrived at New Horizon Academy and enjoys her time at school. She talks about Ms. Rachel and Ms. Nyah all the time at home. Knowing that she loves school made enrolling our newborn so easy! Wonderful Staff and can't thank New Horizon Academy enough for helping my daughter become such a social butterfly <3
I've had nothing but bad experiences at this center since my children started here in February. I've had a gut feeling that I should take them out but I really didn't have much options for other childcare being that this center was close to my job and I would need a center with openings for both children. I've finally made the decision though I have no other childcare at the moment to pull them out. The daycare director is very rude and nonchalant she couldn't have cared less when I told her I was pulling my children out which actually confirmed how I had been feeling that my children were likely being mistreated. I've had several events that's happened most recently I came to drop my child off and not a single teacher spoke to me or my child when we walked in as if I was suppose to just drop her off and walk away with no words exchanged. There were three teachers in the room at the time and normally they will ask when was the last bottle and diaper change. The difference this time is that they were likely upset that the previous day I was upset that they hadn't given my baby a bottle when they were suppose to hours had gone by and I confronted them. Also earlier the same week her father dropped her off and explained to them she had a Bowel movement in the car on the way there and needed to be changed an hour later he came back and she was still in the same diaper they were also confronted then . The center director claimed she would check the cameras and see if she was changed and never got back to us on that . Checking the cameras is always something she would say she would do when I brought up a situation but she would never follow through. A few weeks before I complained to the daycare director that my baby should be eating meals not just drinking bottles as she is 10 months yet they would still maybe fed her once or twice a week. There were so many different situations some I confronted some I let go but the more I addressed situations the more my kids started to cry when I would drop them off as if they were being mistreated . There were so many days that I didn't even bring them to daycare because I was afraid of how they were being treated. They definitely have favorites at this daycare and they do not love children. Most of the times that I would walk in there were babies crying and staff would just be sitting around talking to each other completely ignoring the children. They also never took photos of my baby and posted them on the app even though that's something they promote when touring the center. I received multiple pictures of my toddler daily I will say my toddlers were main teachers were good with her for the most part but there were certain teachers who would substitute in the toddler room that my toddler would start crying immediately when she saw them. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone especially children who are not yet talking .
