I earned my GED through Mercy Learning Center, and I am grateful to have found this place as it has provided me with improved educational opportunities. It is an excellent school for adult women seeking to complete their education. I was able to achieve a higher level of education thanks to their support. However, since the departure of Jane Ferreira, there has been a noticeable decrease in the emphasis on educating women, with a greater focus towards employees. For example, Regina Wrenn who is on charge for graduate students, assisting them with resources such as books and tuition scholarships. Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in communication; emails that were previously answered within 24 hours now sometimes take weeks to receive a response, and there are instances where emails go unanswered. Additionally, I have noticed that students are sometimes treated with humiliation. For example, when I requested assistance with obtaining a book, Regina Wrenn asked the students to share their school account details and passwords to access their accounts. This approach is unnecessary, as I am able to directly provide transcripts or school bills when required. This approach feels embarrassing, and I believe it undermines the dignity and capability of the students.
This is a great place to study. They are nice people 🥰they care about every student. When you don’t come to school, they call you to make sure you are okay. They want you to be happy not sad. Their heart is open to help you to understand everything little by little,so that you can speak English in public. In one year only I can speak a little clearly and read,even though my writing isn’t good enough but I do my best. Thank You Mercy Learning Center!
I am currently attending this school, & they are amazing, They treat you like family the teachers & counselors are great, my teacher Ms Nancy is the most awesome lady ever. She takes her time with us even when we get frustrated . I love it here. AWESOME SCHOOL! THANK YOU MERCY
Atmosphere Is pleasant, staff at the door are respectful and pleasant they always have a smile or pleasant voice. It appear that the tutors are patient and sensitive to the need of the people. We must realize that thy are human as well so they just might have a day but overall I really enjoy my day and appreciate them all.
Mercy learning center is a wonderful place I wish I knew about it much earlier. The center is amazing the staff is the best they treat everyone the same no matter were your from we are like a family there .They stay by your side until you accomplish your goals . I truly recommend every women to attend MLC..
