I had a wonderful experience at the Mercy Orthopedic Hospital on River Bluff Road. The staff and nurses were kind and truly cared about you as a patient. Rooms were clean and I loved that all of the rooms were private. I’ve spent some time in hospitals in Springfield and in St. Louis and I have to say the food was of highest quality. I have no complaints with my experience here! Thank you!

I recently had an appointment at Mercy Surgery Center, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring that I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. **Communication:** Every aspect of my appointment was handled with clarity. The team took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly, making sure I understood everything. Their willingness to explain the procedures and address my concerns was truly commendable. **Compassionate Care:** I was particularly struck by the compassion shown by the staff. They were not only professional but also took the time to listen and empathize with my situation, which made a significant difference in my experience. Overall, I am grateful for the exceptional care I received at Mercy Surgery Center. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication and support. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need

I had an exceptional experience with my Mercy team. From the staff office to the surgical team I have positive feedback. Dr M Hernandez did such an amazing job my recovery went better than expected. She is very caring though she was very busy. I was able to move around on my own within a couple days which was much better than expected.

Mercy Hospital & Mercy Rehab went way beyond…. From Doctors, Nurses, Nurses Aides, Cleaning personal & my Rehab Doctors, therapist, nurses, nurses aides & cleaning personal. Everyone was super friendly & helpful and I didn’t want for a thing. Mercy will always be my first choice. They made a bad accident better.

A terrible hospital! I have a broken neck and my bed collapsed at a hotel i was staying in. I couldn't get up off the floor, so I called an ambulance. Originally, I just wanted help to get up and the EMT's talked me into going to the hospital. Mercy was closest, so had them take me there. It was 3:30 am. I got there and waited a couple hours to be seen in the waiting room with nothing but sweat pants on. They finally brought me a blanket right before being taken to a hallway. I got songs pain medicine and they took me for a CAT scan. After the CAT scan, the Dr. Decided I needed an MRI too. He said it'd be 3 hours before I would be able to get it done. 3 hours later, I asked the nurse, I'm still in a hallway, she said it would be another 3 hours. After that, more pain medication and my anxiety was at its peak. It was around 1:00 pm. by then. They said it'd be another 3 hours at least. I told them I wanted to leave. The Dr. tried to talk me out of it. He didn't understand that I was only wearing sweat pants and in 3 more hours it would be getting very cold outside and I'd have to get back to the hotel wearing nearly nothing... plus I didn't believe the 3 hours lie! So they made me sign something about leaving against medical advice to leave. I scribbled nothing where I was supposed to sign. When they told me I'd have to ride the bus instead of the cab voucher they said they would give me, I tried to take it back and stay for the MRI. They wouldn't let me. Brought my discharge papers and tried to send me on my way with a non transfer bus pass. I talked the reluctant girl at the reception into another bus pass because the one wouldn't get me there. I've had miserable experiences at both Cox South and Mercy hospitals! I'm stuck in Springfield and I'm hurt. Careflight Brought me here without thinking that I could be stuck in a place I don't know with no people who care... this sucks!!!
