What Parents Say
Livingston Academy receives predominantly positive feedback from parents who praise the caring, dedicated staff and supportive learning environment. Parents report their children have thrived emotionally and academically, with teachers providing personalized attention and handling behavioral challenges professionally. One parent raised concerns about insufficient supervision regarding biting incidents.
I really liked The ladies running this place, but however, when my child is being bitten By another child, one time in the face and the other time on the back of the leg, I have to wonder if they are really even watching our children. I don’t see how you can let a child get bit by another child on the cheek, and then the very next day at daycare again on the leg. On the second incident, neither The mother or I was notified. Immediately pulled our son out and found another daycare. I understand kids are wild and will be kids, but this is a little ridiculous.
I love this daycare. My daughter attended Pre-K here 5 years ago and it was not my favorite. Fast forwarded to last year, my son attended PreK here as well (as all other daycares were full). I am so glad that I decided to bring him here! He struggled a bit with his behavior and Livingston handled every situation pertaining to him as they should have. His teachers understood his struggles and did their best to help him succeed (and make it through the day) the best that they were able to. They suggested help and we all came together to work towards the best resolution for him. He was so sad to leave his PreK teachers! My youngest daughter is 2 years old and after staying at home with a sitter the first two years of her life, I decided that it was time for her to attend daycare and be around kids her age. I did not hesitate in choosing where she should attend. As expected, my daughter struggled with the transition from staying at home to attending daycare. Again, the teachers each handled this with grace. I never worry about my daughter being sad, or if she's okay, any of the typical mom worries while their child is not in the presence. I know the teachers at Livingston are making her day the best that they can!
Dont waste your time or your money. My child went here for a few month. Not sure if the teachers or front staff are trained properly. Multiple ocassion I picked my child up with bruises and no one not even the owner would tell me how it happened. They also allow kids to walk around with no clothes as I have witness this. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.
Love this daycare and the teachers they are all so friendly and the 2 babies I had their loved their teachers they had through out the 3 years they were there!
1 have noticed every time I pick my child up he is always in another classroom with another teacher. The kids noses are always running and it appears to be other age groups in the class. When I ask the so call director(which by the way is maybe the 6th one since my child has been enrolled she has a ton of excuses. And not to mention the rates has gone up 2x within the last 6 months and they have no updates to the building or the curriculum. So is this just a baby sitting service? I need answers!
