We didn't have a great experience with our 1 year old in this daycare - we took him out after less than three months. I was not planning on writing a bad review, but then tonight I received notification from my bank that this daycare is still trying to debit my bank account for November tuition - this is after we notified the daycare that his last day would be in October (and receiving written confirmation of this)! It goes without saying you should not share your bank account information with them.
I never leave reviews but felt it was necessary to share our experience. We placed our infant with LSM for only a month and withdrew him after I picked him up with bloody scratches on his head and none of the infant teachers could tell me how it happened. No one had apparently noticed them. When I requested to see the footage that they had said we would always be entitled to see, they stated they had WiFi problems and weren’t sure they could get it to me. After several more requests and keeping our child home, we went to see the footage only to find out they kept my 4 month old in a bouncer all day long and were AGGRESSIVELY bouncing him while he was screaming crying, to the point his head was flying forward off the seat. Even if you set aside the safety concerns, they had always told us they did tummy time throughout the day but they did not do it once in the video shown to us. The infant room is overwhelmed and unable to adequately care for children. My baby would come home and not act like himself and it wasn’t until I saw what he was experiencing each day that I understood why. I do not recommend this school and now see how different my child behaves after a day in a daycare where they are attentive and care for him.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this Montessori school! The teachers are incredibly patient, nurturing, and truly dedicated to helping each child grow at their own pace. The environment is warm, welcoming, and beautifully set up to encourage independence and creativity. Our child has developed not only strong academic skills but also confidence, curiosity, and kindness toward others. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the children and their individual journeys. We are so grateful to have found this school—it feels like a second home!
Little steps has been a great school for our two children! They follow true Montessori philosophies and have helped our children learn how to write, count, and read at a much earlier than expected age. The teachers are all great and have all been slat the school for a long time which is not the norm for daycares in my experience. The last two teachers our daughter has had have more than 20+ years in experience at the school.
I’ve been with this school for many years, and it’s honestly the best of the best! The teachers truly care about the kids and go above and beyond to help them learn and grow. It’s a very stable, dependable and fun loving place! 5 stars all the way!
