What Parents Say
Little Hands at Work and Play has received mixed reviews with significant concerns about management and staff treatment. While some parents praised teachers and overall care quality, multiple parents reported sudden dismissals without notice, inconsistent discipline policies, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior from leadership. Several families report losing childcare arrangements abruptly, causing financial and logistical hardship.
My children got kicked out without even a notice. I was only trying to explain my concern of the care of my child and it backfired on me. With no notice it’s cost me to lose my job. Also has been excuses about their cameras that they advertise. The director was very disrespectful and showed no heart but some of the workers there were awesome!
I have never seen a childcare as unprofessional as this one. I normally don't leave reviews but my daughter attended this center for quite some time all of my children have attended this center. My child was kicked out for no reason bc they didnt do there job to contact state and get authorization. I was not even notified until day my daughter was being dropped off at 7am that they were not taking her anymore. As a parent and I run a daycare myself I have never ever done that to one of my parents. It was a simple misunderstanding and them not to communicate with me as a parent and kick a poor 2 yr old out of daycare says alot about there company and center.
The director is slowing driving away all of the amazing staff members and a lot of parents are taking their kids out. Bread and water for snack, screaming at kids for being on the wrong piece of playground equipment. She is rude and doesn't know how to interact with parents.
My daughter went to this daycare for about a year and we were very pleased with the time she spent here. The director and the teachers were excellent.
My son was about 1/1.5 and bit kids.. like any other toddler does.. he was kicked out but yet any other kid that was biting which my son was but on a daily as well as him biting was NEVER kicked out and still attend there.. I know for a fact because I'm friends with some of the moms that take their kids there.. My son is now 3yrs old and can never return due to that incident even though he doesnt bite anymore and is older.. AMBER was there during that time and got rid of alot of kids and treat people like they are beneath her when she took a higher position in the center.. I dont believe she should even be there to be honest..
