What Parents Say
Little Champs Academy II LLC has highly polarized reviews. Positive reviews praise the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, cleanliness, and helpful directors. However, negative reviews raise serious concerns about staff responsiveness, communication failures, inadequate care for special needs children, and unprofessional conduct by management.
Had an appointment to tour Little Champs, even received an email confirmation. My husband and I both took off to be able to accommodate the visit time and GUESS WHAT, not a soul was in sight when we showed up. If they weren’t able to accommodate communication goes a long ways, especially having worked at a daycare. Don’t bother taking time out of your day to consider this daycare. I received no call back after sending a voicemail through. Attached photo for proof of scheduled appointment.
This is not the place you would want to care for your child especially if they are special needs. Carmen the Director is not equipped and lacks love and compassion that’s needed to work in a setting with children. My 6 year old non verbal autistic grandson attends this daycare for 2 hours a day. Then they drop him off to school. The school sent my daughter pictures of her son being dropped off wet for three days! She informed Carmen and he had the nerve to tell her “well he is a big boy still in pull ups” How could you find it in your heart to say something like that to a parent of a special needs child!! Carmen do You think you shouldn’t have to change him because he’s 6 years old in pull ups? Do not take your special needs kids to this Daycare because they obviously don’t care about your kids. Carmen you should stop working with children!!
My son who is autistic (age 6)recently went to this daycare, I complained about him getting dropped of to school in urine through his clothes the director (Carmen) his self stated on the phone “well he is a big boy who is still in pull ups” as a special needs mom with a child who is non-verbal that response is completely unacceptable and disrespectful coming from a owner of a daycare full with children . Also when he started I wasn’t notified that he would have a co payment every month they waited until it got to a thousand dollars to notify me and want the money when they want it and a certain amount every week basically when it’s on his directors fault that they didn’t notify me of a copayment to begin with . If you have a special needs child who is non verbal please don’t send your child here is not safe and they won’t get the full respectful care he or she deserves with respect .
This is a great Place. The new Directors say it like it is, and they no longer dance around the issues. No Games. Some people just aren't happy when they can't get over on people. I love that they choose quality customers to keep the atmosphere welcoming and fun. I wouldn't bring my kid to any other center.
Went for a tour to see the infant room, the director didn’t want to show me the room at first. After asking again he took me in, I can honestly say I would never put my newborn baby there. I was thinking because it was party of the church it would be great, but I was so wrong! When I went into the infant room it was nap time & there was one baby who was upset and clearly needed something. The “teachers” in the room refused to even go over by the child. Instead one didn’t move and the other yelled at the little baby, mind you I’m in this room with the director. The director didn’t correct it at all, and the “teachers” were more worried about finishing their conversation! I got in my car and seriously cried, I felt sick to my stomach & seriously never want to step back into this daycare. Also the director was so proud about the cameras in every room but mind you there is no sound. I asked if my kid ever comes home with a unexplained mark what they do. He said I tell us a time frame and we will pull up the time in the class room. Like clearly I don’t know what time and I’m not going to sit here and guess around what time my child may have been hurt. This place seriously makes me so sick.
