What Parents Say
St. Edward's Child Development Center in Racine receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from most parents, with strong praise for staff quality, curriculum, communication, and child development outcomes. However, one recent review raises serious concerns about administrative honesty, staff training, safety protocols, and building security.
This center is a 10 out of 10 ⭐️My son is the clingiest baby I know, he has the worst separation anxiety. The staff at St. Edward’s has been so amazing through this transition. They have been heaven sent. It feels so good knowing my son is in good hands. The staff here really love what they do and honestly love the kids. This center is top tier. They send regular updates through the app and pictures. I always know when my son was changed, fed, etc. They encourage parent/family involvement with regular events. They follow a curriculum, so the children are always learning and growing. The center itself is always clean and secure. Nikki, the director is the best. She made the enrollment process easy and guided us through anything we needed to know to make this transition smooth. I couldn’t ask for a better place to send my son. The quality of care my son gets here is truly unmatched! Thank you, St. Edward’s.
We have been at St. Edwards childcare development center for about four years now, and absolutely love it! The staff is super friendly. The kids get to do so many different activities and art projects. There are so many engaging themes/units that are so fun and cute! The learning is phenomenal. My child went to the 4K preschool program there and exited, knowing all of her letters sounds and was ready for kindergarten! The teachers down there were fantastic.
Both of my children have attended Saint Edward’s Child Development Center since they were 3 months old. My son is now 6 and my daughter is 3. The teachers are amazing and have become like 2nd family to us. The care and education they provide is unmatched. I would highly recommend Saint Ed’s for anyone looking for childcare!
We’ve had our son at St. Edward’s since he was 8 months old (he’s now going on 4). The love and care that he receives on a daily basis is unmatched. He loves going to day care each day. There has not been a single day where we’ve considered other care for him.
Administration lied on numerous occasions and even admitted that they were under trained in childcare needs and understaffed. They also place toddlers in front of a television instead of engaging in enrichment like they claim! They also took my son outside in the cold with soaking wet sleeves and no mittens in 20 degree weather! The building is also very unsecured it is very easy for a non-parent to get into the building and roam the hall looking for anyone. Do NOT trust your baby with these people!
