What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Lit'l Scholars for its caring, attentive staff and safe, nurturing environment. Children reportedly thrive academically and emotionally across all age groups from infants through school-age. Families appreciate the affordable pricing, strong security, enriching programs, and genuine relationships staff build with both children and parents.
My child has been going here for about 7 months now and he loves it! He loves each of his teachers and excitedly, gives them hugs, especially Kaylie. When we pull up to the building, he points and says, "friends". Walking inside, we are usually greeted with "good mornings" and "hellos". I really appreciate the way they talk to me and explain to me what is going on and how we can work together to tackle something. I am particularly grateful for Miss Grace as she is very professional and very knowledgeable. She has helped me through the struggles of being a new mom, though she may not even know it! There was a moment of considering moving, but honestly, I want my child to continue going here. As many parents know, it's hard finding a place your child loves with people you can trust and I have found that here for sure!
We started at Lit'l Scholars when my daughter was just 11 weeks old. As a new mom, I was really worried about leaving her with anyone but it has been a great experience and the staff is amazing. The ladies in the infant room are wonderful - they have gotten her on a regular nap schedule and are teaching her to eat solids. Every time I pick my daughter up she is either playing happily or one of the teachers is holding her. I have no doubt that she gets the care she needs throughout the day. On the whole, our daycare experience has been overwhelmingly positive.
I have now had my son at Lit’l Scholars for 3 years and I am still as pleased as the day we started. Putting your child in daycare is a scary thing for a mom with an infant however there were two reasons I chose this place. The first being the cost and the second being the number of staff they have. I like the fact that there are eyes everywhere watching everyone. This has made me feel much better about leaving my infant In their hands. As the years have gone on I love how friendly everyone is. Everyone at Lit’l Scholars genuinely cares about my little one along with all the other children. I love that I can talked to them about my struggles with a stubborn boy and they help with ideas to break habits and help reward his good behavior and the sweetest part about all of this is they help being proactive and take part in the rewarding. Some even with their own snacks from home. Thank you for all that you do for us!
My daughter has been going here for over 2 years now and she loves it. She is now participating in the preschool and she is learning so much. My favorite part is that her teachers recognize her progress and challenge her outside of the normal curriculum to keep her engaged. All of the teachers and directors know kids outside of their class and are always warm and friendly. My accident prone child is always attended. I get reports on every scratch and bruise, and the report matches the story from my daughter. We will continue to use Lit'l Scholars as an after school and summer program when my daughter starts kindergarten. I've been very happy from the wobblers, to the toddlers to the two's (who patiently took on potty training with her) and now the preschool.
We've had our daughter in this center for almost five years, starting when she was just 4 months. It's been a great experience. Like all things in life, our experience was not always perfect, but whenever we have brought up concerns they have been addressed professionally. The owner of the centers is physically present and he knows most of the children's names. My daughter loves her teachers, and most teachers have kept in touch with us even after my daughter left their classroom or the teacher has left the center. Turnover is an issue, but the primary caregivers in each of her classrooms since she was 20 months old are still at the center. We have friends who use other day-care providers and they seem to have the same issues at times as us, but they pay much more money. I'd recommend this care provider to anyone looking for a safe, loving environment for your child.
