We have lived for about a year now and I cannot give enough praise to the maintenance team. It seems they have undergone some changes since we moved here and overall they have improved a lot. They are very responsive and always come behind to check on the place. It may take a few tries to get the problem fixed but I appreciate they do not give up. All of the maintenance guys are friendly and pleasant to talk to. The front office staff is nice, responsive as well, and understanding. The grounds are clean and taken care of and overall it was a pretty good apartment experience. I reccomend this place for anyone who needs to find something within budget

My experience living at Cherokee Summit Apartments is mediocre at best. Prior to even moving in last July, my roommates and I had to sign 6-7 versions of a lease due to error in pricing, pets on file, and switching units. On the day we moved in, we had to sign ANOTHER lease due to a carpet issue and last minute fixes. While this was inconvenient, we were offered a discount on our August rent which gave me hope for my future experience here. When we entered our unit, we had a broken air conditioner and cracks in our bathrooms sinks. They came and fixed the AC day of and eventually one of the bathroom sinks, however the second bathroom sink has remained broken since we moved in. Between August 2024 and March 2025, things here have been manageable. Maintenance requests have been fulfilled at a slow pace, trash piled up outside of the trash compactor on multiple occasions, and we had a mold issue in our laundry room that did end up getting resolved. About 4 months ago, my roommate consistently tried to get in contact with the leasing office about an unspecified charge on our rent that month. They ignored her calls until she wrote her own review and THEN decided to finally reach out to her. When we recently gave our 60 day notice, we were berated with emails about why we weren’t renewing and if we had anyone wanting to take over our lease. Hello? It took my roommates mother emailing on our behalf for them to leave us alone. Since the summer season began, we’ve had a RIDICULOUS roach problem. While I understand it’s Georgia summer, I should not be able to VISIBLY see light peaking through a giant crack under our front door. We established on move in day that we wanted to put on the pest control list being that we live on the first floor. We had months where pest control never touched our apartment and took multiple calls to get them to come in. My roommate also owns a cat who lives in the unit with us, who has started eating the roaches because of how many enter the unit daily. Today, she started throwing up blood and dead roaches due to the excessive amounts she’s had to eat. My roommate went to the office and demanded someone come fix our door, even though we placed a maintenance order a MONTH AGO. One of the maintenance men said he would send someone out and no one showed up. I am extremely fed up with the lack of management and professionalism at this apartment complex. They do not care about their residents and have no sense of urgency when it comes to actual issues with the units. Good luck after your first month getting anything fixed or getting a call back.

Some times it takes to long for work orders to be taken care of. Pest control is a joke they never show up. Maintenance men are always trying to improve their work. Appliances are old and wore out. They need to start updating if they want the money that they are asking for. You'll keep the grounds up but fail on all the other things that matter.

This team at Cherokee summit is absolutely amazing and made this extremely stressful process for me very easy, it was a huge relief running into Ariel she was so dedicated to make sure I got the proper customer service in a timely manner can’t wait to start my journey here w this amazing leasing staff !

The maintenance staff at Cherokee Summit Apartments are very professional, knowledgeable, and proficient at the jobs. Their workmanship was greatly appreciated.
