I would not recommend this daycare. There is an extremely high turnover rate among teachers and management, which is concerning for consistency and stability for children. Cleanliness and health standards are a major issue. I observed roaches throughout the building, including classrooms and supply areas. Meals are also MICROWAVED daily. The environment overall feels unprofessional and poorly managed. Front desk managers and owner too “busy” to even say hello or Good Morning. Based on what I saw, I would not feel comfortable sending my child here.

I’ve been really impressed with our experience at DP Acworth. The director, Pauline, is outstanding. She’s very present, active in the classrooms, and genuinely cares about the kids. You can always count on Ms. Christina greeting you with a smile behind the desk each morning, too! Every teacher has been wonderful, as well. My daughter loves Ms. Tashana and Ms. Jasmine’s GA Pre-K class, and my son works excellently with Ms. Sarah in preschool. My kids were at another school for years before we moved here and I was extremely anxious about the transition, but DP has made it easy and comfortable for everyone. Thank you so much!!!

Discovery Point Acworth is an amazing facility overall! Every teacher I’ve encountered shows incredible love and dedication to the children, and I’m so grateful for that. The front desk staff is always welcoming and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The director is outstanding—her leadership and genuine care for both the children and their families truly set this place apart. The teachers have exceptional skills, and my daughter has learned so much since attending. What really stands out are the extra activities they organize for families and friends. From fun events to engaging activities, Discovery Point fosters a sense of community that makes everyone feel like part of a big family. If you’re trying to decide which facility to trust with your child’s care and education, look no further—this is the place to be!

My boys came from a private daycare to my work about an hour away from our home. After a year of commuting with me, we all needed a change, and this was my only option on route to my work closer to my home. I had toured so many daycares before picking the one near my job and hadn’t looked at Discovery because they didn’t have space at the time I was looking. I am so happy with the transition. The staff is so warm and the boys love their teachers and the rooms are big and not crowded. I thought the daycare before was nice, but this is even better.

My 8 month old has been attending the infant room since he was 11 weeks old. He absolutely loves it and is always so excited when we arrive in the morning. The teachers have been so great with him. He was a preemie so I was expecting him to be sick a lot but the lead teacher has been wonderful at keeping everything clean and keeping the babies healthy. She’s been been very vigilant at making sure he always has a clean diaper and is more than happy to work with him on anything we are doing at home. The director is fantastic! She always greets us with the biggest smile and is so loving to my baby boy. She is truly one of the most genuine people we’ve met and treats all of the kids in the center like her own. I definitely recommend sending your babies here!
