What Parents Say
Linda Vista Children's Center receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents, with most praising the warm, caring teachers and engaging curriculum. One parent reported a poor touring experience with unresponsive staff who seemed dismissive.
We absolutely love LVCC! You can feel the warmth of the teachers, admin, and community as soon as you step through the doors. The teachers genuinely care for our kids (and the parents - they have been a rock and give us support when we need it lol), the admin is super organized and listens to the needs of our community, there's a wonderful community of families, and the vibe is always so loving + positive. We're so grateful to call this place home for our kids!
Poor experience touring the facility. Although it's conveniently located in my neighborhood, the woman running it was pre occupied on her cell phone and did not answer my questions adequately. We toured with another family and she preferred them from the beginning and gave us the cold shoulder, even though the other family was not local. No idea if they provide healthy meals or who they source their food or educational programs from? She would not give a straight answer. If you're touring this facility, ask for specifics because she dodged or plainly ignored my questions.
My children have attended LVCC since they started as babies in the infant room (one kid is now almost 2, the other is in pre-K). It has been a wonderful experience for our family. The best parts of the school are the teachers and the administrative staff. They are warm, enthusiastic, friendly and kind to the children. I miss my kids while I am at work, but I don't worry about them since they are in such good hands. The teachers work really hard to have activities, projects, and opportunities for play that are creative, inspiring and really fun as well as age-appropriate. I'd never think of half of these things by myself. The teachers also work really hard on having the kids learn to get along with one another, which is so important. The school playgrounds are big, and the neighborhood is a great place for families. I love that the kids can walk to the park on nice days, take a trip over the fire station, or go across the street to the library. When I was looking at daycares and preschools, I was really unsure of what to do since I'm not an expert on little kids or education. But I had such a good feeling about this place, and I'm glad I listened to my intuition. I've been involved as a room parent and am on the board of directors. The community is really supportive and lovely. We will really miss it when my kids move on to "big" school.
That’s where my son goes since Infant room and now finishing Pre-K. Teachers are very nice to kids and the program is rich and fun.
Best place ever!
