My favorite place to go. Perfect place to recharge and take care of your health. My only complaint is I wish people would rinse off before getting into cold plunge or hot tub, getting in super sweaty is nasty work. Love this place tho, try the vegan smoothie !

***Review in Progress*** This is not the gym you're looking for... We all remember that line delivered by Obi and I'll give you another one. This is the gym that's been looking for YOU and your family and your friends. This is a gym where Hailey III supplies members like myself with weapons of rescue for flat tubes. This is a gym where Fred stops by on his way to work so he can pull out all of the goat heads in my tire with his pocket knife. These two employees exude helpfulness like sweat pours from the members that work so hard to improve their lives @ this fortress of multitude. This gym builds super men, women, and children. Nothing brings a smile to my face more easily than when I see staff running around with the little ones. How wonderful for the next generation to be surrounded by greatness!? But what would a story be without a great, no perfect ending? A women came by and asked if she could help. She had just finished the 8:15 yoga with Billy and still had her bike bucket in the car after yesterday's ride. A mountain bike girl helping a gravel bike guy. Could Sunday have been any better? No, it could not. Why? Because now I get to center my weekend around Billy and his "tough" yoga class just like the rad women who completely rescued me today... I wish I got her name. :-( And so it goes here @ Lifetime. The more time you spend the more life you get. In the end it's all just air. Why not fill it with a lifetime supply? ***Review will be updated next week around this time***

Disappointing Experience at Life Time Tempe I have been a loyal Life Time member for years and generally love the brand, but the Tempe location under Steve Getz has been a huge disappointment. 1. Broken Equipment: Today I tried eight different treadmills. Several did not start, two would not stop after running and I had to jump off, and others had laggy or unresponsive screens. 2. Steam Room Issues: The steam room rarely works. 3. Cleanliness Problems: Dirty wet towels are often left on the locker room and shower floors. This is not what you expect from a premium gym. Although I acknowledge that the staff work around the clock in the men locker room to keep it clean, but the gym is clearly over crowded which makes it impossible for the staff to catch up. 4. Noise and Class Disruption: Group classes use several large amplifiers for a few nearby participants, but the sound travels across the entire gym. You can still hear the instructor yelling through your headphones with music on. 5. Poor Communication: When you complain, they ask you to send an email, but later claim they never received it. 6. Management Issues: The general manager is rarely available and does not seem to care about the poor condition of this location. I truly like the Life Time brand, but Life Time Tempe is not the premium experience it claims to be. It feels like a low-tier gym charging premium prices.

Lifetime Fitness as a company overall is excellent. Each club (location) is supposed to Adhere to Lifetime Standards across the nation. This location as a facility is older, one of the first ones build in Arizona. It has the old layout. They have enhanced and updated many of the areas as the new locations have. Unfortunately the entrance door, the automatic button has been broken for a long time. This is crucial for the Handicapped/Limited Mobility members. See photos for the broken door. The facility has everything that other lifetime facilities have, great weights, cardio areas, group fitness, new indoor pickle ball courts, basketball 🏀 court, basketball, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor hot tubs, sauna, and steam room. This location has outdoor Tennis 🎾 and Pickle ball courts which no other lifetime fitness locations in Arizona have. Facilities are great. What is lacking I is customer service and leadership. Customer Service is a hit or miss. Lifetime fitness isn’t about a gym, it’s a EXPERIENCE! Like a fine five star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Resort. Hospitality is the name of the game. This is what makes lifetime fitness great and keeps long term members. This location specially the concierge/front desk female manager has a serious chip on her shoulder. Unfortunately Many members feel the same. Overall Lifetime Fitness is great. I look forward to constant facility/program improvement and five star hospitality!

I was a longtime member at Lifetime Fitness but recently decided to end my membership and switch to one of their competitors. Their monthly rates have always been on the higher end (which I was willing to pay for such a nice gym) but during these past few years their constant monthly rate increases have snowballed out of control. When I first joined (~5 years ago) they were charging $65/month. As of today, they are now charging $180/month for their base membership. That's insane!!! Especially when their competitors are charging 1/3 of that price or less for similar offerings! Don't get me wrong, Lifetime is a very nice gym with LOTS of options to choose from depending on your fitness journey, but for me the value just isn't there anymore. Their pricing has skyrocketed to insane levels. Not worth it.
