What Parents Say
These reviews are for a gym/fitness facility, not a daycare center. The reviews consistently praise the clean facilities, friendly staff, diverse amenities including pools and fitness classes, and quality personal trainers. Members note the premium pricing is justified by the comprehensive family-friendly offerings and professional service.
This Club is solid and in a great location - it's my go-to when in Scottsdale. However, they need to focus on that sewage smell throughout the facility, it's pretty bad in the lobby and in the men's locker room. Additionally, there is always so many cardio machines out of service, more than i've seen at any location by far. I've reached out previously with this feedback but no one replied to address it. I think there is a lot of potential here and would love to provide further feedback if the management team is willing to listen. -TF
I trusted Lifetime Fitness when they confirmed-twice-that switching my insurance wouldn't disrupt my membership. After the new year, they accepted my card, only to cancel my membership weeks later. When I tried to resolve it, the only option they offered was paying over $1500, even though my wife's identical insurance was still accepted. I was misinformed and they admitted it-yet provided no help. Very disappointing.
Disappointed to find the outdoor pool closed for weeks of repairs during peak snowbird season. Staff cited it being the “off-season,” but this is exactly when many seasonal residents are in town specifically for outdoor amenities. This lack of transparency affects trust - outdoor access is a major reason people pay a premium for Lifetime over other gyms. If maintenance was unavoidable, it should’ve been clearly communicated in advance so members could plan accordingly.
Unfortunately I have to be a member here - but they have severely oversold this gym and if you don’t take one of their group classes they treat you absolutely terribly as if you’re a lesser member - as if we aren’t also paying hundreds of dollars to be able to workout here. They don’t communicate or ask you to move they just literally take your things. It’s always under construction and just an overall frustrating place to be a member. I really wish they would have more care and respect for the people who have been members for years.
The gym is fine overall. The quality of the demographic and facilities are much worse than Fashion Square or Biltmore, but it’s half the price so makes sense. My biggest issue is the lack of enforcement of no backpacks or bags on the gym floor. I’ve never seen it enforced. Pretty concerning when a lot of the high school kids doing it look like potential school shooters. One time a kid left a threatening note in the locker room and the club never made membership aware of it (had to hear from a trainer). Should at least enforce the bag rule.
