My son was in the infant classroom from 4.5-6.5 months, and during his time there, he’s significantly improved his core strength by doing tummy time exercises everyday and eventually started rolling over. He also enjoyed listening to songs and doing hands on activities such as arts & crafts and baby yoga. The school also held seasonal themed events where the students put on shows for the parents by dressing up, activities, and photos ops. Ms. Gabby & Ms. Joseline were excellent teachers and caregivers. My son loved spending time with them. The admin is very responsive and friendly. We highly recommend this place.

I can honestly say that Herndon Montessori has been such a gift for my son and our family. Since starting here, I’ve seen him grow in confidence and curiosity in a way that I hadn’t seen before. When he was in public school, he often seemed unsure of himself, but now he approaches learning with excitement and pride! What I appreciate most is that this school focuses on the whole child—not just academics. I’ve watched him develop socially, emotionally, and independently. He’s learning at his own pace, building real confidence, and becoming more comfortable expressing himself. As with any parent, feeling trust and comfort matters, and the director, teachers, and staff make that easy. They are professional, welcoming, and truly care about the children. I always feel informed, supported, and heard. I highly recommend Herndon Montessori to other parents who want a nurturing, thoughtful environment where kids can grow in a balanced and healthy way. It has been such a positive experience for my son, and seeing him thrive has meant everything to me.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at this Montessori school. The teachers are patient, caring, and truly understand how to nurture each child’s independence and curiosity. The classrooms are beautifully set up with hands-on materials, and the staff communicates regularly with parents. Our child has grown so much in confidence and creativity since joining. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a warm, child-centered environment!

UPDATE TO THE RESPONDS IN THE BOTTOM: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this Montessori daycare. From the start, we paid a deposit and were assured they could accommodate my son’s needs and that they focus on individual child development. My son has a history of febrile convulsions, which was clearly disclosed upfront, along with a medical note requesting temperature check and medication(Tylenol) if his fever reached 100.4°F. Because febrile convulsions are linked to sudden fever spikes, early monitoring is critical. I requested two temperature checks per day every (2-3) hours which I was told the first time I went to go see this center that it will not be a problem. We completed all onboarding steps, signed documents, paid the deposit, and were given access to the parent app. Then, three weeks later, the owner called me and just 3 business days before my son’s start date, after I had already withdrawn him from his previous daycare,, to say they could no longer move forward due to temperature check request. It made no sense and felt extremely unprofessional. I had planned to enroll my son four days per week, and the center had only one available spot. Given the timing, it genuinely felt like someone offered them a full five-day enrollment and that may have been prioritized, and used the temperature-check request used as a reason to cancel. To make matters worse, although they canceled the contract, I was promised a full refund of our deposit, and two weeks later I am still waiting with no proper follow-up. Thankfully, Bright Horizons (Metro Center) accepted my son immediately. We are now in week one, and my son loves it! They were shocked by this experience and reassured me that temperature checks are not a big deal at all. They put in the app twice a day his temperate while I am at work I get reassurance. This will 100% prevent febrile since it’s being proactively monitored. It takes 3 seconds to do temperature check. Overall, this experience raised serious concerns about communication, consistency, and ethics. Asking for a reasonable medical accommodation supported by a doctor’s note should never result in a last-minute cancellation. I strongly encourage parents to think carefully before enrolling. UPDATE: RESPONSE TO THE MESSAGE What do you mean by “equipped”? Is it really safe to say you shouldn’t be in business if you’re not equipped to take care of kids? I’m honestly confused it’s literally just a thermometer check, something that takes 30 seconds. This isn’t a serious medical condition just precaution to avoid spike of temperature, just a simple step to avoid a fever. How does that require being “equipped”? How does it affect the nanny’s time with the other kids? It takes less time than changing a diaper. When I was touring, the kids were just sitting around while the teachers were watching over them. You and I both know this was not about the temperature check, it’s about getting another business than the kids’ care which speaks for your ethics, this is the consequences of it. You told me let me get back to you in 3 days if we can do that, I was shocked to hear it takes you 3 days to confirm temperature check being the owner, it’s almost as if you were keeping me as a backup option in case they don’t move forward. You also just took the phone away from the Patricia while she was explaining and apologizing, cut her off midway, which was extremely unprofessional. I’m writing this review to call out this lack of professionalism. Everything you said sounded you were trying to protect your image, but my request was simple a basic temperature check. By your own standards, you’re not safe enough for my child or any other kids in your care. At this point I am not upset anymore but thankful I didn’t move forward with you guys. This is to help future parents. Honestly, I’m shocked you even have good reviews.
