Learning Land Kent Campus

Our 9-year-old son has been at Learning Land Kent Campus for 2.5 years, and we've had a consistently positive experience throughout his time here. We've seen him grow, thrive, and truly enjoy his days. Every time I dropped him off every morning, I always noticed Miss Tai and the kids who were there were welcoming and excited to see and play with him. ---and as a parent, that's everything when you see your son is happy and looks forward to being there. Over the years, there have been some changes in staff and management, but all of them have been for the better. The current management, Miss Christa and Miss Morgan, are very organized, communicative, and genuinely involved in creating a safe and enriching environment for the kids. Just recently, they're working on renovating and updating the indoor/outdoor campus. The teachers -- especially Ms. Christa and Morgan played an important role in my son's development and also in our community. Thoughtfully planned family activities are age-appropriate, creative, to help the kids explore and learn, and engage the families. We truly appreciate the regular updates, photos, and open communication from staff, which helped us feel connected to his daily experiences even while at work or busy life schedule. The team is dedicated not just to childcare, but to building a strong community. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a caring and nurturing childcare center.

As first time parents, we chose to enroll our child at Learning Land because it was really close to our home, and took kids as early as 6am which was necessary with our jobs. We had no idea what to expect, or maybe even expected the worst with all the stories you hear… We have found that Learning Land has been the sweetest, luckiest hidden gem for us. Our son is welcomed with a warm greeting every morning (and now he hardly looks back at us when we leave). Everything he does throughout the day is updated on an app you get access to which includes naps, meals, diaper changes, and general information and messages (pictures too!). The staff to children ratios are great, as is the care and attention the children receive. The teachers are all outstanding and attentive, and each of them can update us on our son’s day when we pick him up. All the staff are supportive to help us find solutions when he has bad days. We feel thoroughly informed and confident about our son’s progression at the center. Learning Land has far exceeded our expectations and we would recommend LL to any parent looking for quality care for their child. We are expecting another little guy soon and look forward to enrolling him as well.

There are so many wonderful things about Learning Land that it's hard to know where to start. Enrolling your child in daycare is such a difficult and emotional thing - it's hard to find openings, it's hard to afford, and you're trusting someone else with the safety and development of the most important person in the world. After using multiple options for childcare over the years, I can say with so much confidence that Learning Land is the best choice we've made for our daughter, full stop. The quality of care is just excellent. Activities and learning are well planned, executed, and communicated. The kids get lots of play time and are outside every day. Food and snacks are made fresh for everyone every day and our daughter loves them - a thing I'm particularly impressed and delighted by. The teachers are - broadly - well tenured and committed, and management is intensely involved in creating a community and great culture with their staff. The teachers know and love not just the kids in their class but every kid in the center: our daughter comes in every days to welcomes and hellos from the entire staff. Classroom management is also kind, supportive, and directive in a way that builds great culture and behavior with the kids. It's also a great community in general. Both the staff and kids are diverse with lots of backgrounds, and the center is constantly thinking of ways to support their parents and community in new, creative, and very kind ways. Enrollment is also easy and tuition is shockingly affordable for how great the service is. Before we found Learning Land, we spent months trying to just reach other centers and get on their waitlist, let alone be enrolled. Learning Land saw us and enrolled us within a week of first contact. The price is so relatively low that I was originally worried about limited care, but my experience has been the opposite. My daughter has had the single best care experience we've been able to give her - including compared to a nanny - at the lowest price we've seen. It's really astonishing. We love learning land and cannot recommend it enough!

This place had my son in their care for only a few hours. They then called me and told me to pick him up immediately. Upon arrival I had my son apologize, which he did, and no one responded. Not even a simple, it's ok response. They didn't even tell me anything at first, I had to go back to the office and ask questions myself. That's when I found out he can't come back. He's a 4 year old toddler. I immediately replaced him the same day with a better facility that would NEVER tell a child they aren't welcome. My son did none of the things they claimed he did while there a short time the rest of the day. Nor has he done anything outside of a normal toddlers reaction. This makes me believe they can't handle a child who's having a tantrum and just want obedient docile children at their facility. Parents beware!
