The Location is very ideal and secluded. Tucked away in an office park behind the Kaiser Building off of route 202, it is in a safe area where I know my child is secure and I won't have to worry about public loitering. My now 2 year old has been coming to this daycare since she was 17 months old and I must say that it was the best decision that I could have made. Her teachers are very engaging and pleasant and I'm so shocked at how much she has learned during her time here. She's already saying her ABC's and 123's. The skill set of the teachers as well as Mrs. Haynes are very professional and efficient and my trust level for all of them is so high. You can drop in on any day to watch you child interact with their daily activities and with their teachers and you always get a daily report of your child's day when you come and pick them up. I know most daycare centers operate using traditional work hours like The Haynes Academy, but I just wish they had non traditional hours as well for working parents like myself who don't have 9-5 jobs but 11a-7p jobs...lol..other than that, I love The Haynes Academy and so does my daughter. She's made a lot of friends there and her cognitive skills are excellent.
Check the ratings for this daycare before sending your children here! It’s rate a 1 for a reason. It’s unsafe for children, and the “teachers” are unprofessional.
I enrolled my children here three years ago and my experience was horrible. The staff were unprofessional and my children's infant teachers at the time were very neglegant and careless with my children's belongings. They sent my children home with another child's change of clothes and gave away all of their clothes to another child in their classroom. The director was nice but she needed to make some changes with staff. I miss her other center on piscataway road in cllinton, md. Also, one of the teachers in my children's classroom overfed my infant son whom was born premature and made him very sick causing him to vomit all over himself.
My children have been here for 4 years and they love it. If I come to pick them up early, they don't want to leave. Convenient location, friendly staff that give family vibes, secure, and affordable.
Our family has been with Haynes Academy since 2012 and it has been a true blessing. There is something to be said for the assurances that your children are safe and sound. I appreciate the staff and Mrs. Haynes. I can say with all honesty that Haynes Academy has provided and met our daycare needs.
