What Parents Say
Note: The reviews appear to be for Operation PAR, a substance abuse treatment and recovery facility, not a daycare center. Reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with clients praising the program's effectiveness in achieving sobriety, the quality of counseling and support, and the dedicated staff.
Buckle up. They play no games. Follow the Guide Lines They Have A Lot To Offer. Ultimately It Is Your Journey. Protect Your Self And Loved Ones Basically Follow The Rules. GOOD PEOPLE AND FRESH FOOD. ALWAYS LEAVE YOUR SPACE BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT':) STAY SOBER!!!!
Operation PAR, both detox and residential treatment were life changing for me. The tools and the counseling are at your disposal. You have to do the work though. If you remain dedicated and on track then you can be completely successful with your recovery. Operation PAR has changed my life! P.S. and a beautiful campus with a neat variety of wildlife!
I went in voluntarily and completed the program in seven months. However, upon my release, all of my personal belongings that were in their storage, had disappeared. It was literally everything I owned. My suitcases had been emptied out. All my paperwork and legal documents that weren't in my file box that they let me keep, were gone. Papers from the doctor and hospital from giving birth four months earlier, gone. Legal documents which would be extremely helpful for my custody case are gone. They gave me zero explanation. I left with only the items that they had let me keep with me while I was in there. My driver's license was gone. What they did let me keep, my roommate stole on her way out, a month after I got there. She stole my expensive makeup. They had a bad habit of cross contaminating urine screens and if you are court ordered there, you can get sent to jail for a positive screen. Watch out for them applying for government benefits in your name and keeping them. As I was leaving they were dropping the better classes and the good counselors were leaving. If an employee is doing a really good job, management finds a way to get rid of them. Management is really bad. I'm just glad I was able to get something out of it
Par was a great place overall but when your six months are up you are scrambling to find somewhere to go. They DO NOT help in that area. To be completely honest it was the best rehab I've been to. It's the only one that I've stayed out of trouble since leaving.
One tech that works there named Ramone is a creep. He hits on all the female clients, and when they respond back positively, they get away with everything. If they don't, then they get away with nothing. The nurse Christal is very rude and nasty. Not a bad place, if you can steer clear of them 2. I was in there 6 months and got a lot out of it. Would have been a better experience if they had people working there that actually cared, not treated some clients differently and left their personal lives at home.
