I enroled here only because of russian speaking staff and my english was bad. They helped me a lot. But college is not good at all. It is very small and old school. English classes are too easy and useless. I knew everything they teach but still cannot really speak or understand English. I use gpt to write and they give me good grades. This institute is worse than any technical college in soviet union. It is old and dirty and no toilet paper in bathroom but a lot of womens products what is it?I cannot believe what I see. I go to bellevue college is bigger, better, more modern and will go there in January. Hope can learn english somewhere here in the US in a real college. Show less
College can feel like a full-blown circus sometimes—deadlines flying through the air like trapeze acts, and students juggling assignments, work, and sleep with questionable success. Meanwhile, management often seems like a troupe of clowns tumbling out of a tiny car, honking their horns, making bold announcements, and rearranging things that didn’t need rearranging in the first place. They’re always busy doing their clown stuff—balancing budgets on unicycles, rolling out new policies like juggling pins, and somehow turning every simple task into a three-ring spectacle.
English program is very bad, only theory and basics like alphabet. I paid $4000 not to study basics. Teachers are not professional, just people who speak English better than me. I don't think they have diplomas, but dotn really know, it feels like they never finished their diplomas. Too many essays and group projects. All not helping. They said it's advanced English but it's not. I found out my friends pay only $25 for what I paid $4000 just because of the visa I have. I do not think its right. Same material and two different tuition rate. It shouls be illegal, i dont know but they are fooling us. Now I'm moving to Bellevue college and their english program for international students is separate from immigrants, it is really intense they told me. I dont need 25 dollars classes they dont teach anything. I will try bellevue and post review again.
A great community for non-traditional students getting their education for the first time in a long time, or the first time ever. The ELL programs are effective in connecting students, and the ENGL program helps scaffold students into academic literacy. So many scholarships available! Would recommend.
I love this school. First, I came here as a student. Now I teach here. Great programs in public health, design, game and dental hygiene. Very supportive atmosphere.
