This location has had a ton of turnover the past couple years and at the beginning felt very all over the place. The horribly behaved older kids outnumbered the well behaved ones and it was a mess. Ever since Cheryl took over and brought a loyal/well trained/ consistent staff with her this place is a well oiled machine. Very clean and organized, the teachers seem to all work together, are taken care of by Cheryl and are well educated on childcare. There was a previous review from a mom claiming her children were abused and called out Cheryl as the problem. Her children were the most ill behaved and horrific kids I've ever seen and they bullied other children and even openly were awful to their own mother. When they joined, the older kids program went downhill due to their wild horrible behavior that they got away with, same with other ill behaved kids. Now that Cheryl took over, she does not allow horrible behavior and enabling parents. People are held accountable and children are expected to follow rules and treat others with respect. The kids who were bullies, inappropriate, and all over the place had consequences for their behavior and the facility is much better now. It took time but this place really turned around and I am so proud of the staff for all their hard work that they do. This is a very tough hard job and we love all the teachers.

I would absolutely recommend this school! My son started there when he was 1.5 years old he was a very shy, dependent boy this school taught him independence and courage he opened up and smiled more everyday. He has become a vibrant and very social kid. The teachers treat the kids as there own and they truly love them and you can see that when you interact with them. I never had to worry when I would drop my son off and that is the most important thing. Mrs.Cheryl has absolutely turned that school around and we appreciate her hard work. Again I would highly recommend this school to anyone who's looking for a school that really does care for your child when your not there. We love La Petite Kirkland 😍

Love my son’s school! As a mom, it’s hard not being with my son all day, but I feel completely at ease knowing he’s in Cheryl and the whole teams care. They always take the time to check in with me, keeping me updated on my son’s day and making sure I feel comfortable and informed. My son absolutely loves his teachers, his friends, and his time at daycare. He’s always excited to go in the mornings, and I can tell he’s happy and well-cared for. Cheryl and her team create such a safe, loving, and positive environment, and I’m so grateful for everything they do. Thank you, Cheryl who has always gone the extra mile to connect with my son and I, and all of the teachers for making such a difference in both of our lives!

I am grateful to be a part of this wonderful childcare center! I have great confidence in the director and her oversight. The teachers are wonderful and my child adores them! It is an inclusive environment, warm, and welcoming. I am confident my child is in good hands with the teachers and they customize effective approaches for all the children. My child is happy at the end of the day, and receives a variety of learning content and techniques that support her development.

My child has been at La Petite since May and I am very happy with our experience. He is happy to go every day, and usually asks to play with favorite teacher (Mr. Oscar). The staff is kind and invested in his learning, with educational games and providing us with potty training advice. I appreciate their dedication to his preschool education, and always love getting photos and videos of his time at school. We are looking forward to his future classes and experiences at La Petite until he starts kindergarten!
