My son who is now a 4th in the hi-cap program in our district had attended A Child's Journey from age 3 to pre-K and my daughter from 9 months old who will graduate this summer and stars kindergarten in the fall currently attends the school and we could not be happier with A Child’s Journey! We had looked at many places and when we found this one from my next door neighbor's recommendation. My children were immediately comfortable with the owner Linda who is outstanding and all of the amazing teachers and support staff who are incredibly caring, nurturing and loving and communicate with us about daily activities. It was such a smooth transition. They make fresh, healthy and yummy meals from scratch cooked onsite. I like the way the school is structured and the outdoor play area. It is a perfect balance of "home-ey" environment with still having a five star learning curriculum . Also, the extra curricular options such as soccer, dance, gymnastics have been awesome. Thank you very much for keeping my children happy, safe and well cared for I am so grateful for you all ❤️
ACJS is a wonderful, loving and safe place for the kids. My daughter went here a few years back and now my son is enrolled. They have a very caring staff, good hygiene practice and they provide good quality, clean food to kids. My daughter learned a lot and was well prepped here for entering kindergarten. Even though some teachers have changed now, I'm expecting a similar experience for my son as well.
My two daughters have been at ACJMS from 12 weeks onwards - from the infant rooms to the Montessori classrooms. We have loved each of their carers and teachers. I am impressed by the weekly curriculum and the teachers’ passion for teaching and nurturing child development. We do parent/teacher conferences and have frequent communications with the teachers that I feel very in touch with my daughters’ development and progress. The school has always accommodated any personal needs we had (particularly important for the newborn phase). The children do lots of art projects and creative activities to stimulate varied learning. They get outdoors every day and a few external activities (Soccer Shots, dance etc.) come to the school weekly for classes. We’ve loved our experiences here.
We absolutely love A Child's Journey School. Both of our kids attended, my youngest since 6 weeks old. They're breastfeeding accommodating and now our youngest is about to move into kindergarten in Sept. 2024 and is well prepared thanks to the wonderful teachers at A Child's Journey. The Montessori School has such a diverse and well rounded education plan and I can't thank all the teachers enough for educating and caring for my children over the past 5 years.
My family has used A Child’s Journey School for the past six, almost seven years. First our daughter went there, and then three years later our son. Our experience with them has been phenomenal. Their curriculum prepared our daughter to be an excellent reader by the time she was ready to start kindergarten, and both our children have been well taken care of and loved their teachers. Every now and then our daughter, now a first grader, still talks about missing daycare. The teachers and staff there are warm and loving and I appreciate everything they have done for us these past years.
