My son started going to LaPetite Covington almost 1.5 years ago at the age of 4. We are fortunate not to be in need of daycare, but we did want him to attend a few half-days a week, just to get him used to being away from us and being around other kids in preparation of kindergarten. The first thing that made us look into this school was the flexible scheduling. They offer full-time, part-time and also half days (up to 5 hours). I was also able to pick the days that I wanted my son to attend, unlike most other places, where they have set scheduling. I cannot speak for the younger groups (infants and toddlers) but I have nothing but good things to say about the school in general and the PreK class. The school always looks clean, there seems to be an appropriate staff-to-child ratio and most importantly, the teachers are very caring from what I have been observing. I love the daily updates and pictures and the ability to log in and see my child. I rarely do that anymore just because I know he is in great hands. They are also very flexible in swapping my son's days when needed to accommodate changes in my work schedule. I appreciate that so much. It sure makes a parent's life easier 😀 LaPetite Covington does not just feel like an ordinary daycare. Your child learns to follow a set schedule and also learns new skills while having fun. Even though my son only attends part-time/half-days, he still seems like a big part of his class and I have seen big improvements in his social/emotional skills and development. I highly recommend this school to anyone in need of a warm and loving place (part-time or full-time) for their child.
Both my children are well-cared for at La Petite. My preschooler has been attending for a couple years now and looks forward to going. She especially adored the teachers in the Twos class. La Petite of Covington have been very flexible with swapping around care days when needed to accommodate my work schedule and I always feel assured that my kids are safe, engaged, and cared-for while they're there.
I’ve had both kids at this La Petite for several years now. The staff truly cares and they do an excellent job of communicating in the app providing updates and photos, along with being super responsive with one on one communication. It is cleaner than most daycares and the curriculum seems to be on point. The cost is high of course, but is on par with the area. I highly recommend.
My kids have been going here for 6 years now and we absolutely love it here! The teachers are amazing and I can tell they genuinely care about my children. I love receiving multiple pictures and updates about my child’s day. The communication is awesome!
La Petite takes great care of my nieces and they absolutely love it here. Their curriculum is outstanding! I’m glad I chose them.
