It’s a large gym so plenty of equipment for anyone to begin their workout right away. Be it the elliptical, treadmill or weights, there is no waiting ever, even though this gym gets quite busy at times. I have also been to the pool. Their hot tub and sauna are a great bonus. I would give this gym 5 stars if they only opened a bit earlier on the weekends. If the management is seeing this, please consider opening at 6 am (or even 7 am) on the weekends. People like myself would like to get their workouts out of the way early and get on with our lives. Having to wait until 8 am messes up our schedules. Thank you!
Pretty good gym with decent amenities but beware: women janitors walk in the men’s locker room without any sort of notice (no sign, no verbal alert) so be careful about changing in the locker rooms. Other than this issue no complaints.
I’ve really enjoyed the personal training with Anthony at LA Fitness in Duluth. The sessions are short but effective. He taught me how to use the equipment, and now I feel confident to do my training on my own as long as I can stay motivated. Scheduling is easy. Cancelling was easy. If you need the motivation to get started or to keep going, try the personal training.
Originally, I had an active membership at the Peachtree location. In February 2024, I visited the Johns Creek, GA location to cancel my membership and transfer there instead. At that time, a staff member offered me a promotion and encouraged me to keep my membership. I agreed, believing that my existing membership from the Peachtree location would simply continue under the new location. However, I recently discovered that two separate accounts were created under my name — one at the Peachtree location and another at the Johns Creek location — resulting in double monthly charges since February 2024. After reviewing my records, it appears that this issue occurred because a staff member entered my name incorrectly during the transfer, which caused the system to create a second account under a slightly different name. I was never informed that a new membership had been created, and I never authorized duplicate accounts or double billing. This situation clearly resulted from a staff data entry error and miscommunication, not from any action or negligence on my part. When I contacted your customer service, I was told that only two months of refund could be issued due to the cancellation policy. However, that policy does not apply here, as the duplicate billing was caused by an internal mistake during the transfer process, not a voluntary continuation of two memberships.
This used to be one of the better, cleaner locations. Now those bathrooms are starting to get more disgusting every day. Does anyone clean there? How about not 3 people just chitchatting the whole day at the check-in desk and rather clean something?!
